We visited on a lovely sunny day, lovely views from there. It is at least free, there's a car park and it's just a few strides from there to the Atom. If you're in the area it's worth a look. Plenty of walking to do and countryside to see from there.

Fascinating structure. Story behind it and others very interesting. Shame it had lost the inner ball. Online photos of it all new/intact are worth searching out online.
Parking at it easy. Pull in off road. The views from inside it over the hills and dales are impressive.

What a load of rubbish! Totally out of context with the locality. Stumbled upon it when pulling into the Car Park, even after reading the information board I couldn't make head nor tail! Spoils great views......

We came here yesterday , and the view was stunning , we saw rabbits loads of sheep’s and lambs , also heard a cuckoo, the walk is absolutely lovely , the kids enjoyed very much , the only downside is the dog muck around the Atom , we will definitely be going again

Good walk up this scenic view point as the views are quite spectacular although it was a very clear day.

Called at the Atom after a visit to Haworth as we were passing it on the way back. Compared to the Singing Ringing Tree it was a bit of a let down, the view was terrific but the Atom itself was pretty dull.

This abortion of a thing needs getting rid of. It spoils the view. It is covered in graffiti and full of litter. It also stinks because it is used as a makeshift toilet . I advise anyone who visits the area to avoid it.

Saw this up on the hill top as we were walking along the river and wondered what it was so thank you to all the folk who have reviewed in the past. We thought it looked like a hobbit house! Pity we didn't walk up the hill for a closer view but then some of the more recent descriptions are off-putting. Such a shame there are so many mindless individuals out there who can only think of damaging someone else's efforts to enhance the countryside and enjoyment of it for others.

This concrete shelter with viewing holes boasts graffiti, an aroma of urine and usually some empty beer cans. The moorland views are terrific - if you stand outside it. If you like public art. better go to Burnley to see and hear the Singing Ringing Tree instead.

I have been reading about this sculpture on the Internet. Is it true that the large silver ball which is part of the sculpture has been stolen? I want to visit this amazing place but need to now if part of the sculpture has been stolen? Plz advise?
