Excellent collection and well laid out. Good Maori section too. Friendly and informative staff. Musuem clean and inviting.

Great little museum. If you are into social history you could easily spend an hour or so here, especially if you do some of the interactive things.

We saw the free museum flags as we walked by and so thought to pop in as our children were interested… there was so much information and the lovely lady behind the desk was great - immediately bringing out a scavenger hunt sheet and saying to our boys that there was a sweet treat for those that complete it! It was really fascinating to hear the local info on how the streets got their names etc and fascinating also that the lady lived 30mins up the road from us years ago, Cornwall, England!

A modest museum in a former courthouse. There are two rooms filled with various artifacts. It’s worth a visit if you are in Cambridge. Admission is free.

When in the area, this museum is definitely worth a visit, two rooms full of interesting things to see, that pertains to the region and its people. The camera and victorian display were our faves, the staff were friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our visit immensely.

Cambridge Museum is small, but it has a wealth of local historical information. We were able to get some records from our family history in the district from the very helpful staff.
The kids (and adults!) enjoyed dressing up from the basket of period costumes in the main gallery.

Qualité du musée impeccable, nous avons discuté avec la responsable de la WW1 puisque ce sont les kiwis qui ont libéré Le Quesnoy (France). Celle-ci était ravie de voir des Français s'intéresser au musée. Visite très constructive, accueil parfait.
