We are completely appalled:
- extremely outdated lifts
- poorly snow-covered slopes
- many closed slopes
- not family-friendly when changing piste passes, as a person is needed to look after the children.
- ski passes are completely overpriced for this ski area.
We can only advise everyone against going on a ski holiday here. We have been going on ski holidays for over 20 years and we have never experienced anything like this.
It was terrible in this ski area.

I visited the resort for the second time now. The first time was in December 2022 and I have to say it was really disappointing. The slopes were prepared really poorly. It was almost like skiing moguls. But the weather was warm so we decided to visit once again in February 2023.
Different day, same thing... The slopes were already in terrible condition at 10:00AM!! The infrastructure is very old and slow. Also, the ski trails are poorly marked, which resulted in taking a ski bus from St. Oswald to BKK because we missed the connection on the way back.
Even though the ski pass is a couple of euros cheaper then the surrounding resorts it doesn't justify the price.
Would highly recommend to visit other ski resorts in the region if you are planning to stay in the area.

I've had a terrible experience with the ski resort and the staff.
First of all, the tracks are of poor quality. Badly prepared, and not enjoyable.
We have a small kid, so wife and I planned to do a half day each on the slopes. I did one run before my ski pass was rudely taken away and cancelled: apparently, this costs extra, and the ski resort proudly calls itself "child friendly" for that very reason.
We would have gladly paid extra, if we knew. However, the English language info materials are terribly translated, so good luck figuring this out on your own. Of course, there was no discussion with utterly rude clerk who smirked at my situation, as if they caught a thief.
What was most shocking of all: the ski resort secretly uses facial recognition to catch the "offenders."
Combination of rude staff, Orwellian prosecution of guests, and poor quality of tracks made me want to avoid this resort at all costs in the future. Plenty of other places with much better ski infrastructure and understanding of elementary hospitality.

Ja, wir sind nicht in Tirol. Im Gegenteil... man muss viel weniger weit fahren um super Schifahren zu können. BKK ... immer wieder... Top

We thought to have a nice vacation. Good thing was good weather and open restaurants.
Prices here are very high, acommodation for one week 2000 EUR, cards 600 EUR.
1 Unfortunately we had terrible experiences. All the sidewalks here in Bad Kleinkircheim are icy and are not safe, our child fellt there.
2 Some ski tracks are just closed and half of the open ones are not properly prepared;
3 Buying multiday tickets with spa is not a good idea. The second day when we went skiing we exchanged the multiski pass cards and to our surprise this is strictly prohibited. We bought two multipass cards and id you switch it (by accident) that is problem because the first time the make a reference photo and each time do you go through some pass the take another photo and compare it. If there is discrepancy between those photos and the card code that is misuse of the card and the card i s immediately blocked. Blocade is permanent for the whole period of the cars and also they blocked our spa entrance eventhough that we never been there. When i spoke with manager her kindness is not high, understanding that cards from partners can be excanged is something immposible and even potential criminal act. eventhough that every year they have leess and less quests they could at least have some normal rules and understanding. If you loose card it is also no refund. In this situation the only think is to buy new cards. Unfortunately bad attitude from austrian people.

Mooi en uitgestrekt skigebied waar de pistes goed zijn aangelegd. Er is ook een ruime parking maar tijdig aanwezig zijn is natuurlijk wel de boodschap

The ski slopes are terribly prepared, even when there is a lot of snow (which there rarely is) and I've found out the hard way that they use face recognition to track every single one of your movements and what you do. They have face recognition cameras everywhere and they'll use it any chance they get to ruin your stay. Terrible breach of privacy, I'm never going there again.

FIRST THING TO KNOW ABOUT THIS SKI RESORT: DON'T BUY MULTIDAY TICKETS AND ESPECIALLY DO NOT BUY THEM FOR SKIING AND TERMAL BATHS INCLUDED! And that is because thermal baths are not especially good and the resort will not return you the money if skiing conditions are bad or you have an accident skiing on the piste.
Me and my family came to ski to this resort the first week after the New Year. We are a family of 5 and we bought 5 ticktets for skiing plus thermal baths included. Unfortunately, the quality of snow during these days was not good due to hot weather conditions and snow was even melted on some parts of the pistes and the ground appeared bellow the snow. Even though the conditions for skiing were not quite good, we decided to stay and continue skiing since we already bought the tickets.
First disappointment on the first day was the bad quality of snow but nothing could be done about that because of the weather.
Second disappointment on that first day were the thermal baths. After skiing the whole day we went to Roemerbad thermas. We found the thermas to be small, basically only one swimming pool for adults spread around the main room and connected to the same pool outside and two small pools for children. There was no space to put the towels, no space to lay down and rest. and ever bigger disappointment was the temperature of the water, only 24 degrees in that pool, also in children's pool! We found that to be cold and definitely not warm enough to stay inside for 30-50 minutes and properly relax after skiing. We had to go to the showers to get hotter every 10 minutes. Jacuzzi and sauna are not included in the price of normal ticket.
So the thermas were too cold and too small and definitely not worth of going for 3 days in a row, one day of thermas is more than enough!
On the second day our family has skied the whole day and the snow was better. Unfrtounately at the end of the day I suffered an accident and broke my leg. So we decided as a family to go back the next day to our country so I could go to the hospital.
So the next morning at 9:00 am, my wife went to the office to try to return the 5 tickets for all our family and get a refund. We were unpleasantly surprised to find out that she was able to get the refund only for my ticket because I had medical documents about the accident and we were not able to get a refund for other 4 tickets, for my children and my wife.
This decision and policy from the ski resort is quite disappointing and frankly, in my opinion totally inappropriate. I feel like they are trying to make a profit on other people's misfortune! Do you think it is logical that my family continues skiing while I am laying down broken in the apartment and wait for them the whole day so we can drive back to our country? Would you expect this from your family if such an accident would happen to you?
I understand that the resort is a profit oriented organization but I think their profit should not come at the expense of other people's misfortune and their policies should consider special circustances in case of accidents.
My wife and my daughters are not expert skiers and they would not go to ski alone without me to guide them on the piste and they would especially not go to ski while I am laying down in the bed in pain.
SO THE BASIC LESSON I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE TO THE READER IS THAT THERMAL BATHS ARE NOT WORTH THE PRICE AND MULTIDAY TICKET IS NOT WORTH THE SAVINGS. If you are skiing as a family and one of you suffers an accident the resort will steal your money and it will not return it for your whole family if you decide to return your tickets.
Today, practially in any store you have at least 30 day return policy for every product you purchase! Thieves' ski resorts don't return your money even if you get injured skiing on their pistes! I find this to be stealing and totally disrespecting the customers!
