We came to this church on our way to that day's hotel accommodation. We really enjoyed seeing this church and going inside. This was well worth it. The place is not as grand or ornate as other churches in the country, but it is very nice

Ik vind vooral het houtsnijwerk van de preekstoel prachtig.
Niet de mooiste kerk die je ooitin je leven zal zien, maar zeker de moeite van het binnendwalen.

Beau monument, où ont été préservées toutes les strates d'interventions au fil des siècles, le tout dans un état impeccable et une église vivante et bien entretenue ! Une mention spéciale pour le chemin de croix du 19e siècle, d'una qualité exceptionnelle, et pour les sculptures baroques, dont les confessionnaux.

A turbulent mind ,anxiety,restless soul ?Look no further.The Sint Peter Church is juat then place for you. Stunning architecture ,many symbols to view and admire but mostly the serenity on a cold winter afternoon.You can sit on the benches outside and sat a prayer or even meditate as you overlook the square.It was just what I needed.

Deze vrij eenvoudige kerk die diverse bouwstijlen vertoont, werd in rode baksteen opgetrokken. In tegenstelling met de vrij sobere architectuur van de buitenzijde is ze binnenin wel de moeite om te bezoeken.
Het is een klare kerk door de wit geschilderde bepleistering. Opvallend is de grote gebeeldhouwde preekstoel die de wonderbare visvangst voorstelt. Ook in het oog springend zijn het opvallend aantal biechtstoelen, de mooie doopvont met koperen deksel en de glasramen.

This church is very typical for it’s time, outside it’s a bit bland, inside magnificent.
Especially the place priests keep their cermons, which is completely wood carved, and not in use anymore, is bafflng. It depicts a fishermen’s scene.
To see in combination with the beguinage with the museum and the museum of cards.

Very beautiful church. In winter there is a magnificent Nativity scene with real animals (ox, donkey, sheep, chickens). The stable was donated to the city by Francois & Jacqueline Boone.

Deze hoofdkerk is zeker een bezoekje waard. Prachtig interieur met verschillende kustwerken, het hoofd altaar is een pracht stuk

We hadden hier met een groep uitstekende uitleg van een gids, waarna een top-organist een kort concert voor ons uitvoerde met later nog uitleg over het mooie en unieke orgel. TOP!
