The breakdown is a beautiful little town with a beautiful beach , unfortunately La Panne is also a racket town for motorists, if your parking exceeds by two minutes despite you come to move or hand in a ticket it is the fine of 30 euros insured they are on the lookout to put lawsuits to the minute... it's a shame it spoils the holidays right away...

So don't do it in August. Mudful, also the better restaurants and then there is little left. And what happened to those famous Belgian fries? So better avoid sad village.

Lovely fresh air on the beach. It was clean and very neat! Local hospitality is all extremely friendly and helpful.

In my opinion it is the most beautiful beach in Belgium. I have been going to the Belgian coast since childhood, and every time to the Blackout. I'm not changing places for anything in the world. This beach is beautiful, it is clean (at least as much as you can see the incivilism of some people), it is nice and maintained. We went in February to enjoy the place in low season and see a sunset... we were not disappointed!

Visited in Feb in good weather. Not much going on as in low season but the beach looked a safe place for families with children. Lots of promenade restaurants which were closed but I can imagine on a hot summer's day they will be full.

Parking scam!
Be careful when you want to visit the seaside resort of "La Panne" because this is not indicated in the addendum, but all parking spaces are subject to payment both in the center and in the adjacent streets all year round. .
Few signs specify this, no markings on the ground stipulating payment and the pay terminals are all in Dutch (Thank you for the tourists!)
In addition, there is work in the center which is endless (no more sidewalks)

This was a very nice sandy beach with lots of space - particularly as it was not peak season! We stopped here for a picnic lunch but would have stayed longer if we hadn't been due at the Eurotunnel to get home! Parking available nearby and there was a large range of restaurants and bars along the beach with shops on the road behind.

This is the sixth time I have been to De Panne and my wife, children and I are absolutely delighted. The beach is huge, clean and perfect for endless walks. The children catch crabs, collect mussels, build castles or fly kites. Simply wonderful. And if the weather is bad, you can go swimming in the Plopsaland water park or in Nieuwpoort, or you can walk through the dunes in the nature reserve. The promenade is very wide and invites the kids to skate, ride their scooters or cycle. I can only recommend that everyone stop by for a postpartum break and it won't be a disappointment. The people are extremely friendly, the shops in town are only a short distance away - it was simply pure relaxation. I hope everyone has a lovely visit there.

je pense que cela est interdit mais il y a plusieurs campings tout au long de la côte. Je pense également que tout camping sauvage est interdit.
