We stumbled across this absolute gem of a place. Could not have been more perfect for the afternoon we were searching for and Andy even let our dogs stay while we pottered. We all came away feeling very accomplished and had had a great time nattering and sharing stories which was a bonus :) thank you so much and I would recommend this to anybody!

Staying in the Forest of Dean for the week celebrating family birthdays. I arranged an artistic day for 10 people doing pottery in the morning and painting in the afternoon, in our holiday stay.
I wanted members of the group to have a great time doing something different. It also would be a good thing if the weather was poor.
We had an amazing time. People who had never held a paintbrush or touched clay and were a little apprehensive, came away with a huge sense of achievement and some pretty fine stuff.
Age range 8 to 72yrs.
Adam, who taught the morning session, was very patient and well prepared. We built lovely little night light houses. They were taken and will be posted back when fired in Adam’s kiln. They will be posted to us when ready.
Gillian his lovely art teacher wife, took us through painting a landscape and encouraged and coached in a very supportive way.
Our two 8 yr old grandsons came away with something they will treasure. Fun memories and a Halloween light.
One member of the party became very emotional, they had enjoyed something that they had thought impossible.
An outstanding and memorable time had by all.

We were a party of three generations and couldn’t have been made more welcome by Adam. We loved our pottery throwing tuition due to Adam’s excellent teaching and patience. Would definitely go back.

I surprised my boyfriend with a pottery class a couple of weeks ago for his birthday. We had a brilliant time, both of us total novices on a pottery wheel and amazed by the outcome of our first ever bowls we made. Adam was a fab teacher, explained and guided us through the techniques and put us at ease. Had a real laugh and would highly recommend

Such a great activity! Really enjoyed learning how to make a bowl but also just found Adam FASCINATING! What a great experience. Would highly recommend to people looking for a half day activity that’s super wholesome.

What a fantastic way to spend an afternoon! My husband and I have both wanted to have a go at throwing a bowl for some time and we couldn't have wished for a better place to do it. Adam was a great teacher, fun and enthusiastic and really made us feel at ease. Thank you Adam, we can't wait to use our finished pieces.

Me and my Girlfriend's visited Adam at Yat Pottery in Ross-on-Wye to celebrate our 50th Birthdays 🎈 Adam is very friendly,chatty and genial + extremely communicative and helpful aswell as being hands on to help with perfecting the technique. It was a brilliant,fun + interesting lesson with a perfect end result of a Bowl. Thank you Adam for a brilliant experience at your Studio. Highly recommended.

Adam and Gill are great. They have visited us at 3rd Ross Brownies several times and have been fabulous with the girls creating fairy doors and crowns! This time I visited the shop to make some tiles to mark the arrival of my son. Adam was great with Frank and the prints look great, I can’t wait to see the finished product!

We booked a two hour pottery session for our family of 8 and had all our expectations totally exceeded! Adam was brilliant in his tuition and we had great fun hand building our unique tealight houses … ending up with a small village! A brilliant experience! Highly recommended.
