Il n'y a d'historique que la façade, mais elle semble avoir été récemment nettoyée vu la précédente photo. L'intérieur a été ouvert en une boutique d'artisans (cuir, coutellerie).

Since you might already be in this town for another reason it is good to stop by this for the five minutes it takes to get to and five minutes to see. It is original and interesting

Il n'y avait rien à voir, à part la façade puisque le musée était fermé au moment du pont du 15 août. C'est peut-être intéressant. Ce n'et pas certain qu'elle appartenait aux templiers.

From the outside this funny little house looks a little askew and dates back to the 13th century. It never did house Templars though.

Well, the truth is, unfortunately, that I don't know when I will return to Caudebec-en-Caux. I thought the House of the Templars would be open when we were there - I didn't know it was under renovation, and even the website, which mentions the renovation, doesn't give any idea when it will be finished. Considering the building's great antiquity, that could be a number of years. Let's hope it re-opens soon - it is certainly an atmospheric and intriguing part of this otherwise sleepy town!
