Arriving on foot from the station you come across Porta XX Settembre and the Montagnana city walls which are one of the best preserved even if they no longer have a walkway.

Medieval city walls, almost intact. Very beautiful - perhaps a little more in the photo than in real life (since for a long stretch a large road passes close by with too many trucks...).

good morning, what a nice surprise to open your mail and find the photos that portray the beautiful moments of the visit to your city. Thanks to Mrs Michela for the availability and kindness with which she accompanied us during the morning. It was a beautiful experience and the time flew by. Thanks go to the tourism councilor Mrs Rossetto for the very sincere and transparent welcome speech in her words overflowing with love for the area, thanks also go to Mrs Levia who patiently answered all my emails and welcomed us with a smile and professional. Another thank you goes to the tour guide Mrs. Silvia who accompanied us far and wide to see the points of greatest interest and beautifully illustrated the history with enthusiasm and skill. Also on behalf of my wife we thank all the people who worked to ensure that our visit to the city of Montagnana remains in our fondest memories. Thank you

Pleasant visit to this charming town surrounded by medieval walls and towers. There is a particular temporal dimension here and it offers an excellent opportunity to taste local specialities: raw ham and schizzotto!

mura di cinta maestose e lunghissime che danno un colpo d'occhio eccezionale. il borgo è circondato da queste antiche mura e dai bastioni ancora perfettamente integri. da vedere.

Cittadina tranquilla ed accogliente. Le mura che circondano la cittadina sono ben conservate. Vista panoramica dalla torre principale alla quale si accede pagando un biglietto di ingresso di 1,5 euro.

È un posto bellissimo e romantico. La cinta muraria è conservata molto bene. La piazza, con il duomo, è elegante. Sotto le feste è magica, con le luci e l'albero. Vi sono torri antiche e quattro porte che conducono al centro della città, dentro la cinta muraria. Molti locali dove si mangia bene (pasticcerie speciali, negoziati con cibo ottimo, osterie, pizzerie). Anche la chiesa di San Francesco è molto bella.
Fare il giro delle mura, sia all'interno, sia all'esterno, è una bella passeggiata. Anche con i cani o con i bambini. Crescono i fiori attorno.
A settembre rievocano il Palio dei Sette Comuni, con l'incendio della Torre e vari tornei. Da non perdere.
