This is a small cave temple situated near the Kudle beach. You have to walk down the cave to reach the shrine and the temple is inside the cave. Be careful if bats. It’s a space which is not going to take than more than 10 to 15 minutes

Happened to see a small board stuck on the trunk of a tree stating 'Shiva Cave' right opposite the place where we stayed for a day (Kudle Beach View Resort)... once I got into the jungle, I realized that there were no further landmarks and no one to direct you - still carried on simply out of curiosity and knowing that it was a mere 100 meters inside... there is just a flag to indicate the location of this spot else nothing much helps including navigation maps. There is a hole in the wall which leads into a cave with a small temple inside. I was lucky to spot a few workers cleaning up the place in preparation for Shivratri else it would have been really cumbersome to confirm that this indeed was my destination. Went close to noon time and hence did not find any bats inside... feel free to skip this one in case you have limited time allocated to the Gokarna trip...

Its slightly tough to reach without a map or a guide and there are lot of bats inside the cave.Lot of stories are associated with the cave

This is about 500m from the Kudle beach, right opposite the Kudle Beach Resort and Spa. Nothing great to see here, a small temple (tiny at best) inside the cave. But the uniqueness is the cave, in case you haven't been to any cave like structure. Little uphill by walk, about 50-100m, then about 4 steps down in to the cave. It's dark inside - there is small hole near the temple through which sun rays come in. The cave experience is the only good thing, unless you want to offer your prayers to Lord Siva

Бешанная энергетика пустотности внутри пещеры. На данный момент там живет баба, он проводит ягьи за донейшн для желающих, накуривает туристов. С ним живет Кот. На полу лежат подстилки, можно лежать. Рекомендую идти туда минимум на час, если вы чувствуете энергию. Можно взять что-то к чаю, а баба угостит вас горяченьким. Есть комары.

Am Ende sitzt ein in der Höle lebender Priesten. Konnte mich länger mit Ihm auf Englisch unterhalten. Er sitz vor einer Shiva Figur.

It is absolute worth seeing it! Please show respect, it is a temple. And keep the place clean. Be aware of the bats.

This place is called 'Gogarbha' (cow's womb) by the local people. It is situated on a hill top near Kudle beach. One can enjoy the beautiful view of the beach from here.

The place is diganolly opposite to the rickshaw stand for Kudle beach. There are no signs there and you just need to find a passage in the barbed fence. The cave is not large, there are Shivalingam in it, there is a place for meditation. A flashlight is basically not needed, enough light from the phone. The cave is inhabited by small bats that sit on the ceiling of the side niches. A little above the entrance you can find a hole in which light penetrates into the part where the lingam is installed. A orange flag marks the location. You may get some thrill out of it as the place is lonely. Better to visit in a group.

This cave could be difficult for you to spot. Entering the cave could be scary if there are no people. It is an experience to get there.
There are bats inside the cave and very often you may spot a saint meditating inside. I would recommend you to visit the place for the thrill.
