Supposedly “the delicious Karls Ducks food” was a disappointment!
Every now and then in the cold season we eat the touted roast duck with dumplings and red cabbage . For many years this food was more than okay. Good, the dumplings have always been like rubber, but the duck legs were crispy and tender, the red cabbage tasted good. But what we experienced this time at the end of November, 24.11.2024, was almost an imposition. Cured as always, but this time they were tough, the meat couldn't be detached from the bone, the skin a single fatty skin, by no means crispy. As a result, cooked far too short. That's a shame when you realize that it's important to make money as quickly as possible. In addition, the plate is weighed with food, 100 grams of food, whether pasta or meat dishes now cost 2.60€, formerly 1.70€. Wine is filled into glasses, the size of the glasses has decreased noticeably, the price of course not. A salami at the kilogram price of over 51€ then remains only a footnote. Unfortunately we didn't take a picture...!

We stayed here with our two young grandchildren (3 and 4 years ). We had bought two day tickets for the playground and subsequently we found that these were unnecessary. Because for almost everything the two passed the time there, we needed thalers. So the now also bought. There was nowhere a description, had to inform us with other visitors. That's how you get to sales, of course. We find this outrageous.
Furthermore, the announcement came that due to a technical fault in the catering sector you can only pay in cash..... So much for cashless payment.
Those who are not prepared for this can go hungry.....

My grandchild was only insulted by a statue and spat on with water.
She was scared and cried a lot. Couldn't calm down at all and never wants to go there again. She really wanted me to write this.

It's OK for a trip with small children. All in all, it's a sales event. Cutely done... mainly for children. When they're 12🤨 they'll just be bored.

Nice day trip destination for children. Small but nice. Children have fun here. Yes, it gets a bit crowded, but that's normal. The shop/market hall/sales shop is very nice and has everything your heart desires.

We were at Karls Erdbeerhof in Koserow in August 2023. The farm looks very nice and is also lovingly decorated. I found the rest just awful. Crowds of people that you can hardly walk. Before we arrived, the traffic jam due to the overcrowded parking lots was so big that there was an extreme traffic jam on the 111. With the prices in there, a few parking attendants could also be an advantage. People wandered around the spaces and ended up parking wherever they wanted. The farm is just a sales machine with extremely high prices, and people buy and buy because they think everything is great. Repackaged Haribo melon gummies or generally repackaged candies were sold for €3 a bowl. Which contains a quarter of a Haribo bag. Sponge biscuits for €5.50, etc. We couldn't use the day tickets for rides at all because the waiting time was extremely long. It may be better and quieter at other times, but during the holidays and when it's raining, you don't need to go there because everyone does it. I didn't like it that day because we left after an hour feeling frustrated. And €40 for 4 day tickets that you can't use... just extortion in my opinion. Save your money and do something better during the holidays. I understand that you have to pay more for handmade goods, but please don't sell repackaged goods at extremely high prices. They really should rethink the prices. Some people can't be fooled.

We were with our grandson at Karls in Koserow on August 3rd, 2023. Not to mention the many people who cause panic during an evacuation. The escape routes are too narrow (strollers, wheelchair users), it's like playing with fire. We particularly noticed that there were so many children smoking on every corner. Mr. Dahl donates a lot of money for worthwhile causes. Perhaps it would be better to invest in prevention rather than later in some kind of treatment, etc.

Vorsicht vor Abzocke beim Essen! Unsere Enkel wollten Nudeln essen, mussten 10 min auf neue Nudeln warten. Dann haben sie sich dummerweise noch ein paar Klopse dazugelegt. An der Kasse dann die böse Überraschung: statt 7,50€ pro Gericht satte 25,-€. Fair wäre gewesen, wenn die Kassiererin einen extra Teller dazu genommen hätte! Auch unsere Intervention mit diesem Vorschlag traf auch beim Vorgesetzten auf taube Ohren! Wir nennen das Abzocke- ca. 30 € für 2 Portionen Nudeln zu viel gezahlt!
