We were looking for a sandy beach and we opted for this one. Easily accessible by car (5-10 minutes from Otranto and about half an hour from Lecce), the Laghi Alimini is a very beautiful place where sea and lake mingle and where the turquoise water extends for around ten meters from the beach. We parked in one of the car parks provided for this purpose (allow €5 in cash, cards are not accepted and around thirty euros if you wish to be at the beach club with parasol and deckchairs). We opted for a slightly wilder part by walking around ten minutes on the beach to put down our towel and our belongings. However, bring a durable parasol and not the plastic parasol that we bought at the local store which caused us some slight tension within our relationship due to that damn wind. However, the setting remains very pleasant and the sea very pleasant, probably one of the most beautiful beaches in Salento, or even on the Adriatic coast.

Area surrounded by nature which, although close to the sea, is far from the chaos of tourists. To visit the lakes it is possible to go by car as there is free parking just before the entrance to the pine forest where driving by car is prohibited. Upon reservation there is the possibility of taking a tour of the lake with water bikes where a local guide (the legendary Serena!) will accompany you... An unrepeatable experience in Salento. For those who love trekking there is also a fabulous path through which you can reach the points of the lake that overlook beautiful panoramas. Attention: There is no access to the sea from the lake!

Spiaggia bella pulita e tranquilla , ideale per famiglie e anziani ( accessibile per sedie a rotelle) . Servizio gentile. C'è un bar munito di colazioni pranzi e cene e giornalini e giochi per bambini.

In ogni caso sei vicini al mare e qualche locale nelle vicinanze, inoltre mi pare ci sia qualche spiaggia servita per cui probabilmente qualche gioco per i ragazzi si trova.
