The city has the whole potential to be amazing, close to the sea, old city, good weather. Unfortunately, the old city is not maintained at all, very dirty, a shame. Overcrowded, especially by night, loud music in a kind of open-air "clubs" with horrible music & sound system. Beaches are dirty, full of waster. Unfor a good example of how people can destroy history & nature.

Prelep stari grad Ulcinj, cisto, super za pravljenje lepih fotografija. Zao mi je sto muzej nije radio na tvrdjavi da ga obidjemo inace sam odusevljena ne samo tvrdjavom vec i celim gradom.

The most horrendous noise until 1 am every night is extraordinary. Ulcinj is a lovely place but the awful trash house music that is played every night at massive volume, so it can be heard from kilometres away is just awful.

Great view over the sea, the old city and the park above is worth visiting even in extra season, a lot of souvenirs, great food, interesting mix of albanian/muslim culture with orthodox world

Ulcinj devait être une belle ville autrefois : une plage encadrée de rochers dominée par petite bourgade de maison de pierre. Mais la surexploitation touristique a rendu l'endroit franchement pénible. La plage est bondée et sale. Une activité immobilière intense a encombré le paysages de centaines de laids bâtiments. Le commerce y est partiiculièrement tapageux. Tout est cher. La nuit, le bord de mer devient une véritable discothèque. La ville semble attirer particulièrement un public vulgaire, amateur de bling bling. C'est spectaculairement laid et en enuyeux

The Old Town, a small beach, beautiful streets, a charming place, friendly people, a lot of gastronomy, prices in restaurants very attractive, friendly for families with children, Fresh organic vegetables and fruits, apartment prices from 650 euro for three people for two weeks, we paid our price 750 euros for an apartment with a terrace and air conditioning, we recommend 101%

Some people seem to dislike the old town, But things have changed, So no surprise that there are easting places etc.
These buildings cost a fortune to restore, And most are in excellent condition.
Do not go if unfit, and on a baking hot day, its a slog. Plenty to see if you have the stamina and time.
If eating some places hve really great views,,, possibly the best reason to go there
Thing is there's no local parking, so might be worn out before getting there !

nice town, quite small and a small beach, get a taxi as parking and driving through is a nightmare but town, bars, restaurants and ice cream superb !

Altstadt - Old Town Ulcinj – ist eine historische Sehenswürdigkeit. Wir haben ohne Eintritt diesen Stadtteil besucht. Im Sommer muss man auch Eintritt bezahlen. Schöne schmale Straßen und eine tollere Aussicht.

Wij zijn een vakantie aan het plannen voor zomer 2018. We denken aan Zuid Kroatië, Montenegro of Albanië. We hebben een appartement op het oog in Ulcinj.
Is deze plaats leuk om voor 2 weken te verblijven? We houden van strand, cultuur en lekker eten en terrasjes.
Of hebben jullie nog andere tips- plaatsen om in die landen naar toe te gaan...

Wij waren een maand geleden in Ulcinje. Geen aangename stad om te verblijven. Druk en zelfs chaotisch Bewoners zijn voor een groot deel moslims Moskees een vrouwen in boerka's beheersen het straatbeeld
