Old and varied.

The old town of Playa Blanca gives lots for the visitor it has the main bus station on the drag and the ferry port soon to be cruise port, many more visitors.

Also a beachy area and prom to Flamingo beach and Marina Rubicon both about 15 mins stroll.

Many shops bars and restaurants here all good value as its a fairly cheap island, the biggest town area on this coast. And worth a visit at least once during your stay.

Holiday spoiled by villa burglary

I’m posting this as a warning which will hopefully prevent other peoples holidays from being ruined. We stayed in a beautiful villa in Montana Roja for my partners granddaughters birthday. Delayed for two years due to covid we arrive in June 2022. Lovely day spent celebrating her birthday by the pool then we headed out to dinner. When we returned our villa had been burgled her birthday money, presents, our clothes, jewellery and handbags stolen - the invasion of our privacy was the worst part. We’d seen a chap watching the villa during the day but thought he was looking at the birthday balloons we had on display. I’m the enjoyment of our holiday we’d relaxed and not set the alarm - we made it easy for them. Poor advice from 112 and no in person attendance from our villa company added to our hurt and disappointment. The two police officer who attended were kind and helpful and I attended at the police station but as there was no translator available the crime is not formally recorded. Purpose of post is to remind people to be cautious and aware on holiday - it’s spoilt our special birthday celebration and taken the shine off our holiday - we had to relocate to a hotel (further costs) as our family no longer felt safe.

Great resort

Such a clean and beautiful part of the world. Lots to explore and do. The town centre was vibrant with lots of shops if you wanted to go shopping. All round good.

Para mí lo mejor de Lanzarote. Siempre que venimos nos alojamos aquí. Tiene un largo paseo marítimo muy agradable de recorrer.

il mare a portata di mano

vicinissima al centro e' la spiaggetta del villaggio di playa blanca. contornato da ristoranti e bar, la spiaggia offre anche le docce gratuite. Data la grandezza può essere molto affollata e a causa della vicinanza con il porto subisce gli effetti delle onde generate dall navi.

Jolie station balnéaire, qui se divise en deux : "l'ancien" avec des restaurants, rus piétonne, et magasins en tout genre; puis le nouveau (au niveau de la Playa Dorada) avec des restaurants plus chic, et magasins plus haut de game.

The best resort on the island

We ve been going to Playa Blanca twice a year for 10+ years, we have tried other resorts, but none are a patch on this place. We even bought our wedding rings here it s so special to us.

Dit stadje heeft deels nog het gevoel van een oud vissersdorp, gecombineerd met nieuwe winkels. Leuk om te wandelen, ook via de boulevard.

Mooi strand

Een mooi strand. Je kunt er vanaf de boulevard zo op lopen. Je hebt er de mogelijkheid om een strandbedje met parasol te huren. We waren met z’n tweeën €15 kwijt voor 2 bedjes en een parasol.

Boutiques à touriste ...

Cette ville n'a pas grand intérêt.
On trouve une multitude boutiques à touriste sur le front de mer.
Aucune boutique d’artisanat local .....
Lors de notre séjour à Lanzarote c'était notre point de chute pour rayonner sur l'ile.
Aller plutôt vers les plages du coté de Papagayo, elles sont très belles.
