Beautiful park, large mature oak trees for shade, lots of picnic tables and space to play Frisbee, toss the ball, or whatever strikes your fancy. A river runs along the park, suitable for wading, and looked like it could be good for canoeing. A very relaxing place to sit and listen to nature.

I went with a group of friends and we decided to do one of the side loops along the Musquodoboit Rail Trail, the Admiral Lake Wilderness Loop. It was a beautiful hike of more or less 5 km, with an elevation that went from 10 m to almost 100 m, and spectacular lookoffs, the last one, Jessie's diner, overlooking Bayer Lake. The hike is a bit difficult at points, but the spectacular views are worth the effort!

We were driving through the area so stopped for a short break at the park. A good spot to stretch your legs or let the dog out of the car. It is a small Provincial park with a river, a few picnic tables, small play area and trees for shade.
