Not a bad place in the past. But has gone downhill.
Why bar staff think themselves so special is always beyond me. 2 of them saw me waiting and stood there messing with an iPad.
Poor selection of beers you have never heard of, why blow that horn? Know staff think it’s hilarious but it’s actually awful.
Another brighton pub to dissapear up its own behind.

Always a chilled one when here. They have tables down stairs as well so don’t be fooled if it looks packed. We managed to get a table for 6 downstairs on a Friday night. Decent drinks and nice staff.

Great little pub with interesting decor and great atmosphere. Prices are good and selection of ales and craft beers is awesome.

Went for a late night cocktail and the Bees Mouth which were well made and affordable. There was a DJ too which was nice to see in the current climate. A good place to go before moving on somewhere busier later int he night.

the girl that is behind the bar needs to learn to smile and not act like people ordering drinks is an inconvenience to her. people should be taught to be friendly and polite to customers.

This used to be my favourite pub in Brighton. But in the last two years, the staff have been getting consistently worse. Examples: rude and arrogant attitude to customers (on one occasion getting angry and waving us off because we were still thinking about our order), or bar staff literally completely ignoring me - the only customer - at the bar while they continued their private discussion; on another occasion one of the hipster bar staff was practicing some kind of cocktail for a good fifteen minutes, letting us wait at the bar without any acknowledgement.
Please avoid going to this place. Perhaps they will get the message, fire their terrible bar staff and employ some real guys and girls and the place will be great again.

Stopped off here for our last drinks after a day out in Hove. Had a ale nice quality, bar staff were lovely. Nice seating areas , wasn’t keen on the loos bit dirty. Music playing was great

This place is really cool. Decent beer and i always have a hangover in the morning what means that i have had a good night!
Usually this is the last pub i go to on a night out as it is situated next to a great kebab shop. When you first step into the Bee's you are greeted by a chesterfield (Who does not love a chesterfield?) and a head spinning on a DJ Deck...
This place is lively, quirky and always full of new and interesting people.
The bar staff are friendly and always smiling. The Bee's also boasts a range of bottled beers and spirits behind the bar that are not common place in others so it is a must try for people that like something new.
The bee's also has a basement that is often used for various different activities. Open mic, Live Drawing, Poetry, Cinema Screening the list goes on.
Truly a place that encompasses the meaning of Brighton. Fun, Lively and different.
The best part of this fine establishment is the hidden room at the back of the Bee's, a little tucked away and great for bigger groups. Go and have a look if you are ever on this side of town.

Awesome place and great music. Unfortunately had one of our cocktails taken away prematurely and would not replace (had closed cocktail bar but replaced with different drink)
