Fantastic beach on the Bay of Fundy. Breathtaking views. Very windy conditions. Worth the long drive. Great photo opp.

We visited the beach on a Sunday morning. There were only a few people there apart from us, so we could walk around undisturbed. The sand was incredibly fine and we found all kinds of mussel shells and other "flotsam and jetsam".

At low tide this beach is huge and very beautiful. The 1.5 km beach is framed by the picturesque village of Cape St Mary's to the north and another wilder headland to the south. At this wilder end there are interesting rock formations and some small caves in the cliff face. To the north, the beach is intersected by a stream flowing in from the lovely marsh behind the beach. All these features make the beach varied and interesting and fun for all. Water is cold.

We always take the time to stop here when we are in the area. Endless sandy beach at low tide. A peacful walk on the sand will brighten your day. It was a windy day this visit and it amazing watching the sand being blown across the beach in waves like little rivers. Never busy anytime we have visted, last week of August or first week of September.

We were there on a foggy evening and it was absolutely magical. The tide was out and we walked for a long way out on the sandbars and could hear the pounding surf but couldn't see the waves through the fog. The next day, the sun was out but it was actually experiencing it in the fox that we so cool.

Visited this beach several times while staying at the Cape View Motel and cottages. The beach is sandy and very clean. My family enjoyed the sandpipers and the waves. The beach has a slow slope making it wonderful for playing in the waves or enjoying your time with small children. There were very few people there during our visits. There was also a place you could rent surfboards as well as a snack bar, both near the road just off the beach. A very pleasant experience.

This beach seems to be underrated and not promoted much but it is amazing. The long sandy beach, great place to stay and surfing is wonderful.

Came here today to visit this beach. We were there at low tide it appears, very nice clean beach with lots of places.
Too bad we couldnt stick around, but quite an awesome place.

We spent two hours walking part of this uncrowded miles long beach. The tide was out and it was our first experience of walking on tidal flats. I was amazed at how hard packed the wet sand was. I had always thought that tidal flats would be treacherous to walk on. If you are a rock hound, there are some beautiful specimens here…even found a large, partially hollow rock with a crystal geod in it. At the top of the hill from the beach there is a Chinese restaurant and although we didn’t try it, by the number of cars in the lot, it seemed to be a very popular place. There is lots of parking at the beach, in at least three different lots. There are steps and boardwalks over the dunes and washroom/change room facilities. We were there early – mid August and the smell of the wild roses in bloom filled the air. Lovely and relaxing!

If you go at low tide, you can walk for miles in either direction. To the right facing the ocean, there's a stream entering the sea from the marsh. Fun to wade across. To the left, if you walk far enough, you'll find several cave in the cliff side. The retreating tide leaves several sand pools that are great for kids. Basic changing, toilet and rinse-off facilities.
