We visited Nosara in June during rainy season so we were hesitant to book our excursion in advance as it was all weather dependent. The day before, I contacted Miss Sky Tours via WhatsApp as that is the only way to communicate with them. They have 2 tours a day, the first one is 7:30-11:30 and the second is 12:30-4:30. There was only one time slot over the next two days and after checking Google for the weather, we made our decision and arrived the very next day at 7:30am. The night before we received a text about what to expect and we followed it to the tee. If you plan to take a backpack, you have to leave it in the office as having anything on your back during the zip line can and will slow you down. A small fanny pack is fine but if you have zippered shorts that is even better. We had our money in our backpack and was little hesitant to leave it but someone stays in the office the entire time you are on the tour, so everything was safe and secure. You cannot leave your belongings on the transport because you literally hop into a military grade truck covered with a canopy and benches for seating. There are no doors or windows and everything is out in the open so your items are not secure.
After signing in, you are fitted with a stinky helmet and damp gear. Although I caught a slight whiff of lysol, there was a musty stench associated with the gear that all but ensures that you will have to thoroughly scrub your hair and body.
After we loaded up, it was about a 30-45 minute drive up the mountain to our destination. While on our drive, a truck carrying bags of cement, got a flat tire and our crew stopped and helped him with fix his tire. It took less than 10 minutes and everyone appreciated the hospitality as that is something you almost never see in the states.
After reaching our destination, we were handed leather gloves with padding and then the guys went over proper hand placement and etc. It was my son's first time to zip line and there were also a couple of adults who had never zip lined before; everyone got the hang of it from the start.
After the first zip, we hiked a steep climb to the next one but after that there were no more hikes until we went to the waterfalls, which you experience after about 7 zips. It was a humid day, so taking a dip in the waterfall felt wonderful. After about 20 minutes, we hiked back for our last zip line to the truck and we were back around 11:20-11:25.
It was a great experience, the guides were nice and also provided water a couple of times during the trip. For $75/adult and $50/children up to 12, we thought it was well worth the pice and we felt we got our money's worth.

Absolutely amazing! The crew was so nice. They did everything to ensure we had a great time and felt comfortable. It was a true adventure from the ride there and back to the beautiful scenery and wildlife sightings. It’s a must do!!!!

This zip line tour was an amazing experience for our whole family (kids 11 and 13). We only saw one monkey (no other animals) and no waterfall because it was dry and very hot while we were in Costa Rica (late March). It is a great thing to do if you are not afraid of heights and want something fun to do with your family. The truck ride up was also an adventure and the guides were great!

Great tour with Miss Sky Canopy. The office was a bit difficult to find, but we eventually figured out it was just off the lobby in the Nosara Beach Hotel.
All the guides were great, but we and the kids enjoyed Kevin the most.
I think we did ~13 lines. All were ground based, meaning there were no steel platforms or need to climb in trees. We have now done 3 zipline tours in CR, and this was by far the best. Comfortable, friendly, fun, and safe.

We were on the Miss Sky canopy tour in Nosara, CR on Monday morning (13.11.2023). Unfortunately, a tragic accident occurred that day.
An employee of the company fell into the depths in front of our eyes and died. We do not know how the accident happened. The articles in the national media also state that the accident is still being investigated.
Unfortunately, these reports are only in Spanish and can only be found with a meticulous search. There is no information for tourists in English.
We assume that it was human error. But unfortunately we cannot ignore the security gaps that we have noticed:
-No walkie-talkies for staff to communicate with in case of emergencies, even without reception. Help could only be called after three more zip lines, as reception was available from then on.
-In the safety briefing, there was no sign that you could have done in an emergency to get help directly.
Finally, we would like to point out the inhumane behavior of the manager. We were left alone with what we had experienced and we had the feeling that she wanted to protect herself from legal consequences by remaining silent. The employees on site are not to blame, as such safety measures should come from the management level.
Our sympathies go out to the victim's family, friends and colleagues. We are trying to process the experience with this report and to warn others.
ATTENTION: The company is allowed to continue operating despite the investigation by the authorities and will be offering tours again from tomorrow morning. (Four days after this tragic event)

The lines were fun but unfortunately the crew was disengaged and there is no disco bar as per their website.

Why are all the reviews written a couple of years ago? The prices on the webpage are from 2014!
It’s kind of unusual not being able to pay by card, considering the amounts they must handle every day. My question is, is this place serious?

We have someone with us that is not able to walk very far due to an illness. Would they be able to accomodate this person with perhaps a gof cart?
撰写日期:2018年6月27日
No golf cart - you go up the mountain in a very bumpy truck which is hard to get into without help.
Then there is a little bit of hiking up hill.
But if you call them first I am sure they will help.

Considering Miss Sky the 2nd week of May? Should I make a reservation in advance?
Also, would you recommend the morning or afternoon tour? They seem to be different.
撰写日期:2018年4月24日
Loved both but in the afternoon sun may be a bit strong if your not a night of it.

I am planning on going to Nosara in January from the 13th to the 20th with a small group of friends. We want to know how much the sky canopy tour costs, how long it last, what times, where do we meet to take the tour and so forth.
撰写日期:2017年11月12日
The tour times vary by time of day and whether you have lunch. Our morning tour without lunch from gear up at their office right on the main road was right under 4 hours. Basically you gear up, sign your waivers, and hop in a huge open air truck for your trek up the hill. I think the cost was in USD, and they recommended bringing cash. The price was around $80 per person. Check out the website and give them an email, they are decent about responding to your inquiries.
