We loved our morning with expert equestrian Justin and his four legged friends; Spirit, Dallas and Pumpkin. The horses are well trained and obviously healthy and well cared for. The trails and beaches provided a great way to see the area from horseback. Highly recommended.

This was a really fun experience, riding both on the beach and through a bit of the jungle. The price was good. The horses were definitely treated well & taken care of.

Wow! The 1.5 hour trail ride was AMAZING! Through a jungle, on a beach, through the town and ending at the river. Great way to see it all. The tour guide was fantastic (shout-out to Tuto) and the owner was so friendly. Highly recommend!!

We took our 3 young boys on a 1.5 hr ride through the jungle out to the beach. They loved it! One of our 5 yr olds was able to ride in the saddle with me (smaller adult) while our other 5 yr old rode his very own smaller horse tethered to the guide, and our 9 yr old got his own horse. The horses were gentle and well mannered and easy to ride. Kids get helmets. It was a fun experience and we would definitely recommend. Very nice group. we also loved that it was just our family, so it felt personal and more like a private tour. Thank you playa ponies for a memorable experience.

Three of us went riding with this Playa Ponies. The horses are so well trained and beautiful and healthy looking. We rode through beautiful forests and onto the beach to the mouth of two rivers. It was a beautiful 1.5 hours. Our guide Justin was very good with the horses and was very attentive with us.

My daughter and I stayed with Carrie and her lovely family for 3 nights. Carrie and her family are warm, welcoming, flexible and we were very comfortable. She designs the stay according to riding level, experience and what you want to do. The horses are very well taken care of and all the other animals staying there were so much fun to be around. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

We cannot say enough about our guided ride which included a tour through the jungle, to trotting on the beach, and a mountaintop view. Our guide, Tutu (sp?) was great and was able to tell us about the area. He had complete control of the horses who were are very accommodating to a family that has very limited riding experience. Trotting some was thrilling and not something that other tours we have been on have allowed. We had some rain during our ride, but the experience was still amazing. This is the place if you are in the area! Thanks Carrie and team!

My husband myself and 3 year old daughter went on a beautiful tour through gorgeous private parkland to rivermouth and beaches. We saw lots of monkeys and birds. The guide was helpful and knowledgeable. Most impressive was the quality of the horses and most especially how well they are cared for. They were beautifully clean and well kept with excellent equipment. I understand they run lessons for children.. I only wished we lived closer so my daughter could go more often! 10/10
