Mark took my boyfriend and I on an ATV tour last week up in the mountains while were visiting Nosara.
The tour far exceeded both of our expectations and we had a blast riding and hanging out with Mark.
Do yourself a favor and let this man show you what Costa Rica really looks like cause he's got some great ATV trails to take you on with some amazing views.
I will definitely be coming back and when I do I'm for sure getting surf lessons from Mark and even probably get him to take me out quading again.
Thanks Mark for an amazing day and all the memories.

After coming back to Guiones after 6 years I knew I had to take surflessons with Mark again! He really knows what he's doing and also it's just so much fun being out with him in the water, reading waves and philosophing about life. I'd highly recommend taking surflessons with him, whenever I'm coming back to Nosara I'll do that anyways:-) You can go to the frogpad and ask for classes with him.

We had a quad tour last week with Mark and it was great! He was patient and kind with our two kids and very helpful with instructions. It was a safe and adventurous experience.

My ATV tour and surfing lessons with Mark were the highlights of my Nosara trip. I've had several surfing lessons from different instructors over the years. The massive amount of knowledge and raw passion he has for surfing made him by far the best. The ATV tour he'll lead you on is also phenomenal: stunning views, local back roads, jungle, waterfalls, wildlife...the works. Again, loved every second.
To top it all off, Mark is a genuinely good person with a great sense of humor and high level of safety-conscience.
So get off the computer and head to The Frog Pad/iQuad---adventure awaits!

Mark and Michele had all three of my young adults reliably catching waves within the first 30 minutes of a one hour lesson. It was such a great experience that we booked a quad tour with Mark (through iQuad) and another lesson to try to catch some green water later in the week. We are fortunate that we met Mark early in our stay; he added so much to our trip!

After doing a tour with iQuad with the tour guide, Mark, we(my gf and I) decided to learn how to surf with him at his company called Nine North Surf co. Smooth service and Mark is a great person to hang out with. He is patient, kind and friendly. He knows all the steps to teach you the fundamentals of surfing. Being with him puts a smile on your face! :)
Again, Mark, thank you so much for a great time and we look forward to seeing you again sometime in the future!

Mark is great resource and a nice guy! He clearly knows everyone and the local terrain. We went on two quad trips with him...one snorkeling and the other up into the hills to a waterfall. Great fun and a fabulous way to see the country. Thanks for the thrill rides!

I visited Nosara a few months ago and had the pleasure of learning to surf with Mark.
He was so patient and easy to learn from. With his help I was able to pop up on the first wave I caught.
What an amazing experience and am so grateful to Mark for teaching me about this new passion I have found!!!
Totally addicted and will def be back for more lessons with Mark and tons of more waves in beautiful Nosara.

Mark had me up on my first wave. He helped, but after about 5 more I was able to catch my own. Relaxed, simple, and straight forward instruction. And I got to use the board for the rest of the day.
