Lovely beach for a morning walk when the tide is going out. You can access this from the main road and also from a walking path (that takes you away from the busy road). Great to be able to integrate this beach into a walk to the shopping centre!

The beach can be easily accessed by several paths from the neighborhood. It’s a long sandy beach that is kept very clean. Great place for a long walk or run!

Ravie d'avoir pu profiter de cette jolie plage. Très calme le matin, un peu plus de monde l'après-midi. L'eau est agréable, plage parfaite pour les familles.

Not only did I stay at the Whangaparoa lodge but right across the road was this amazingly safe to swim beach called Little Manly beach. It was lovely to take a dip after a hot busy day. Very safe and very picturesque - the local people who were on the beach at the time were friendly and told me that they often see dolphins and the occasional orca.

Spoilt for choice in Auckland and the surrounding areas for beaches/bays. This is another lovely one which is just off the main road so easy to park. Facilities such as toilets and shower. Little grassed area prior to the beach which is great for picnics. Overall a very quiet beach.

Nice beach & swimming facing Auckland CIty.
A good walk, at low tide, to Arkles Bay. Slippery rocks and takes about an hour & you have to get back.

While this is a pleasant beach, there are so many more beautiful beaches further along the peninsula. Handy however to access if you are staying close by.

Spent a little more time here this year as it is adjacent to our accommodation (Little Manly Lodge) - this is a small quiet beach with safe bathing and some interesting rocky areas at each end – at low tide you can safely walk along the cliff face to the next bay – blackish sand with some rocks and stones – limited parking – small clean toilet building

Such a beautiful spot. Great for the kids and safe. Shops and Mall just 5 min drive up the hill. Take ya BBQ and your set for the day. You'll need an umbrella to cover from the sun. There are trees on the grass verge but they are blocked off from the council as someone has poisoned them. Private boats also leave from this beach so it's a fun family day.
