Super activity to do, we then chose the 9 km route for about 2 h. The landscapes crossed are very beautiful and quiet. Gabarians make waves when it passes which allows to add a little more to the ride to get watered a little. The current allows you to enjoy while letting yourself be carried. Many small "beaches" are available to stop. Possibility to choose between a single or double paddle and the waterproof can is included in the Award which is moreover quite suitable. The employer who received us and gave us instructions was very nice. For our route, a bus picks up people every hour or so (at least in September) and takes us back to the base. Plan to protect yourself, as there are few shadows on the course.
Great activity and welcome, I recommend.

We booked directly on the website.
The day before we receive an SMS with the GPS coordinates of the Check-out Point. No difficulty finding the law.
On site you can picnic in the shade and / or buy at the bar. There is a toilet missing a hair of cleanliness but as in every place heavily frequented at this time.
We liked the simplicity of the organization: you leave whenever you want from your Check-out time and you choose the time you want to take the bus that picks you up after going down the route. You can take the time to do the course, you stop picnicking, swimming...
However we waited a little while because one of the people at the reception left despite the crowd without welcoming us. Then she gave us the explanations half because online at the same time.
For the rest it was just perfect. Thank you for this great time. We can only recommend you.

A must do and must see!! The chateaux on the hillside, the cool river, the ease of booking and collecting kayaks. And to top it off you are met at the end with a bus to bring you back to the start!! A fun way to spend the day!

16 km descent this morning with Canoë Vacances...another very good experience, very friendly welcome, very good explanations, very helpful young man...transport by van to the starting point in Carsac and descent on calm water , with birdsong, few people in September, super pleasant...little info but important, there is a WC at the base of Canoë Vacances and a snack bar...interesting price... very pleasant, helpful and friendly staff...thank you for this third successful descent with you...with my husband, we will come back if we stay in the Dordogne again...

Excellent kayak trip.
We completed the 9km ride from Roque Gageac to Milandes in an individual kayak.
The team is very friendly and during this period there is no waiting. A word of advice, take the walk in the morning. Almost no one on the water!

There are three circuits offered:
- 9kms or 2 hours: this is the one to take if you really want to see the castles and villages that make up the charm of the Dordogne
- 16 km or 3 hours: it's the wild Dordogne without much to see from a historical point of view
- 25kms or 5h: it's the combination of the two and frankly it's too long.
In the middle of August, there are crowds with all the disadvantages of mass tourism. We wait a long time, the infrastructures ie WC, refreshment bar, parking lots are just in time.
The staff is very nice despite the volume of customers, it's a plus but unfortunately it's the only one.
The paddles we are given are simple paddles completely unsuitable for 25 km. You need double paddles like all those from other companies.
In three-person canoes, the middle seat has no backrest. For 5 to 6 hours of paddling, good luck.
The transfer to the departure point at 3am and 5am is a hell of at least 30 minutes. Fully equipped with your life jacket and your paddle, you board a crowded bus with as many paddles as passengers suffocating in their life jackets.
The bus is an antique, one door does not close.
The passengers laugh about it, that's all they can do.

We completed the 16km route in just under 3 hours and we had a blast!
Depending on the fact that we went there on the last Saturday in July, we must have encountered less than 30 canoes.
Several small beaches allow you to stop and swim. The equipment is in perfect condition and the staff is more than pleasant.
Thanks to the whole team ! We will come back to do the 25km.

Beautiful canoe trip where we were able to admire very beautiful landscapes.
We took the 9km journey for 2 hours of canoeing, which was more than enough to be able to do the whole route and admire the castles. The team is very friendly at the arrival and departure of the course and guides you with kindness and a smile!

We are very excited about the canoe trip. I am 68 with very bad knees and back neck. Also over weight. How easy is it to get in and out of the canoe? I do not want to risk an injury. Are their cushions available to sit on? We are considering the 15 KM trip. Thank you in advance for your reply.
