Damo and Micko were great instructors! Made us all feel very comfortable and safe trying out surfing for the first time, and had a lot of fun despite being a fairly large and mixed group! Will definitely be trying surfing again - thanks guys!

Damian from Go Ride a Wave was a great teacher- even managed to help me to stand up once. So much fun! I laughed so much. I’m inspired to keep learning!

Sorry I'm not sure if that's the right name Jade..? I learned from him and I really recommend it. This was my first time surfing and I was worried because I can't swim but I didn't have to worry at all. It was so much fun that 2 hours felt like 40 minutes!

I've had a few lessons but Cal was by far the most professional, encouraging and all round the best teacher. Would love to go surfing again with him as he gave great pointers on how to improve. Thanks so much!

Fantastic! Booked a last minute group surf session for my 12 year old and she ended up having a private session as no one else was booked in. Maui the instructor was super friendly and my daughter had heaps of fun. Highly recommended!

Had the best first-time surfing experience with Cal! Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor for the first surfing lesson in GC, got so many good practical tips and managed to catch some waves at the end of the lesson.🏄🏼♀️🌊 Thanks for giving a heads up on the best surfing spots in GC, we’re gonna be back soooon! 🔥

I booked 3 surf lessons for my son Noah at Broadbeach. He had the best time all thanks to coach Kal and Damien. They both made it great fun and the 2hours flew by!
A massive thank you to Kal and Damien. Noah will be back for more lessons next time we are visiting the grandparents on the Gold Coast!

Highly recommend! Took me and my 3 teenage daughters done a 2hr learn to surf lesson with Damien. Was only 4 of us in the lesson, had no experience and we all managed to stand up on the surf board by the end of the lesson.

I brought my friends, who had not surfed before, for a lesson st Karrawa, I was so impressed with this surf school! The instructors were so thorough and encouraging! The 2hr lesson was broken down to two parts: theory on ocean safety and how to handle the board in the water, practice on this, followed by more theory on how to pop up and practice. I dare say most of the class stood up on the board by the end of the session. Everyone had fun. Brilliant outcome! Highly recommend these guys!

I had a lot of fun during your two-hour beginner surf lesson! Damian's engaging and knowledgeable approach, along with the exceptional guidance from both coaches despite the larger group, made it an enjoyable and informative session for everyone. I felt safe at all times and was able to pop up a couple of times. Overall, it was a great learning and fun-filled experience.

Prices for a 2hour surf lessons are $69 for adults and $59 for children under 18. This includes a long sleeved rash shirt and a soft beginner surf board with 2 hours of instruction and fun.
