Last visited 20 years ago when the only luxury resorts in Surfers Paradise were the Palazzo Versace Hotel and Sheraton Mirage, ably supported by a classy marina and boutique shops and restaurants. We visited on a Monday (not sure if the place picks up pace on the weekends) and were disappointed to find it with barely any shoppers. The restaurants were open for lunch though, the destination serviced by the Hop On, Hop Off ferry.
We were informed half the marina will be upgraded to accommodate a larger marina; hopefully the rebuild will re-invigorate this tired location.

We are visiting Gold Coast for more than 30 years. Marina Mirage used to be one of the main attractions. There was variety of exclusive boutiques, pleasant cafe and nice atmosphere. Most of exclusive shops gone, only couple left. Marina Mirage is following Suefers Paradise center where all exclusive shops disappeared. At the same time we dined for the first time in the pub. Food was excellent and prices extremely reasonable. Looking forward to visit it again.

A sad and lonely ghost town this place is. Terrible feel to it. Eerie atmosphere. Obviously badly affected by Covid - empty shops all closed down, decor dated, deteriorating structures. The shops that are left appear struggling, very frumpy old fashion. Nothing to see here, give this precinct a miss. Don’t waste your time. Very sad as it’s said to have been beautiful and thriving once upon a time. We visited mid week expecting something fabulous only to find a quiet forgotten about place. Left after 20 mins, straight to Pacific Fair.
Horrible run down Thailand type shops next door, need knocking down, no one around. Derelict old hogs breath cafe next door too.

Kann ich nur empfehlen, das Essen ist sehr lecker! Kann den Fisch und die Desserts ganz besonders empfehlen!

It was once a great little shopping precinct, even though it bordered on the exxy side.
Sadly it appears Covid has killed it.
Many eateries & boutiques gone and seriously needs a birthday to bring it back to it's former glory.
Thank goodness for Omeros because it would be worse.

Great shopping area down by the water. But its basically deserted due to Covid. But due to this there are some great bargains to be had. We scored a leather jacket reduced from $350 to $99.

So very sad to see what once was a great spot to shop and dine is like a ghost town. Do hope that somehow life can be brought back after Covid.
Thank goodness for Omeros to enjoy fabulous food and service. For shopping there are still a couple of delightful shops but not many.
Do hope this is revived somehow.

More than half the Centre is
empty. Shops closed and empty everywhere.
Do not waste your time. Centre sadly needs a huge revamp. Just a clean would be
a start.

No There isn't. Take comfort in the knowledge that there are excellent licensed restaurants all around you. You won't have to think too hard and certainly don't have to carry anything with you.

It is normal shopping hours, I wasn't there before 10 am, but 10 am they are opened mostly until 5pm. Restaurants are working late.
