This is an amazing surf school. It is important that an instructor will not only be a good and knowledgeable surfer, but also be a patient, encouraging and caring teacher. Gabe was all of these. Highly recommend to all.

Fabulous surf instructors , friendly crew. Helpful, competent, great boards, well organised. Got our granddaughter up and going. She had a great time. Thanks for the great week, cheers Kaela!

The best surf school in the Alley. Ann, Pat and their coaches really engage and work with you the whole lesson. As an adult they ensured I was catching waves on my 1st lesson. Following lessons was live coaching, helping me refine. Also for the kids, the smaller groups and hands on coaches helped her get up really quickly. The lesson cover everything including safety. Highlyrecommend

Big thanks to Pat and Ann at surf easy.
Our kids had a great time, and were very well looked after. In all we booked three private lessons in the week after Easter, each lesson you could easily see the progression.
Thanks again Pat - the surf guru.

It is perfect timing (with all that is going on in the world at the moment) to take a surfing lesson. We booked our 9yr old in for a lesson with Pat. She absolutely loved it and said he was hilarious. To see her ride a wave the whole way in was amazing. The smile remained on her face ALL day and she can't wait until she can do it again. Ann & Pat were so welcoming, made our daughter feel completely at ease and provided not only a fun lesson but the skill required to catch a wave. Thoroughly recommend!!

Our 7 year old took an impromptu private lesson with Kiani. She was a great instructor and he loved every minute of it. Kiani gave him important instruction on the sand, but also got him out on the water quickly. He popped right up with a huge grin on his face. She took great care of him throughout the entire lesson. We would definitely recommend Surf Easy and Kiani.

Great time had by the whole family. The whole process from booking through to the end of the lesson was first class. Anne, Pat and our instructor James were great with us all. We had a family lesson, this included a couple of teens and a 7 year old...all had an amazing time and we cant wait to try it again. We'll just have to hope we get back to Queensland again to surf at the Currumbin Alley beach. Fully recommend the Surf Easy Surf School to everyone!! I'm sure you'll have as much fun as we did.

FANTASIC! My partner and I had a private surf lesson with Pat from Surf Easy Surf School this morning. We haven't done any surfing ever before so we decided to do our research and found Surf Easy to be the best on the Goldcoast... And they absolutely were!! Pat made us feel safe, he is very warm, welcoming and fun person to be around. We found the surfing to be challenging in a very exciting way, its definitely a kick like no other when you get up and ride a wave! Can`t recommend this enough. If you`re on the Goldcoast, this is an absolute must do experience!

I did five lessons in Easter 2019 and they were great. Cannot recommend these guys enough. I knew nothing and they got me up to speed. Was really good having a range of instructors as they all had different insights and ways of explaining which helped to dig up the problems. They were very friendly and chilled out on shore and then on water they were very rigorous and attentive, always giving very specific advice 'you're doing xyz, need to be doing more like abc' (i.e. they don't just sit there and watch, they're very engaged and serious about it). Many thanks to this great crew bringing me the magic of surfing! Whatever reservations or trepidation you have, park them, get on down and learn to surf.

I have 2 kids. The older one was super keen while we were on the Gold Coast to try surfing. The younger one not so keen. Both tne kids were looked after so well. The coaches were very knowledgable, friendly and great with the kids. I was amazed how both kids were standing up and surfing by the end of the lesson. Everyone in the lesson had a great time and were surfing in no time. One of the highlights of our trip to the Gold Coast. THANK YOU Surf Easy. Highly Recommended.

We generally say 6 but have had 5 year olds come along who are very confident in the water. If the water conditions are right, and if they are in a small group or have a parent in the water with them as well as the coach then it's fine.
