Serenity Beach one of the beautiful beach in Pondicherry. A lovely landscape of sea. Stonebridge is add on gift from God. We also find some seashell here. Wave is good to bath but carefully about it. Because there is no lifeguard. We visited during weekday so few persons was there and beach is calm and peaceful. There are some hotel and restaurant on the shore. You may face difficulties to parking car. The beach is closing time 6 PM.

Visited this amazing place.. no one was there by 7am.. we could drive our car near the beach. Peaceful ✌️

Serenity Beach is located near Kottakuppam, which is more of a fishing village than a typical tourist attraction on the outskirts of Puducherry. A narrow road connects the beach to the ECR. The development of this as a tourist attraction has considerable potential for improvement. Although the beach has beautiful views, it needs to be cleaned because we can see rum, wine, and whiskey bottles, as well as papers with food waste on them. Walking on the beach is challenging.

The name speaks for itself the beach is very calm and beautiful and very enjoyable. There are many home stay properties surrounding this area. Its a bit crowded during the weekends but still gives you a pleasant experience

Located off ECR in the Kottakuppam Area, this is not exactly a tousist spot but rather a fishing village. The beach, as such, is peaceful and it is possible to enter the waters. The access road from ECR is quite narrow. Plenty of scope for improvement if this is to be developed as a tourist attraction

Beautiful! Peaceful! Serene!
After our visit to Auroville, we traveled for about 8kms and reached Paradise Beach. Not that crowded. Its relatively clean. Had rock hills to climb up & sit. Loved it

It’s not really a beach like any other. It’s a fishing village and you will find boats on one half of the beach and then there is this walkway made up of stones. The other side is a small clean beach but no shacks or anything to sit and relax. I would say it’s a nice place to relax for the local families who need a quick break from the daily chores and spend some time with the kids having fun splashing in the water.
It was very crowded too given the last week of December but otherwise I would say it could be pretty secluded. If you are visiting Auroville then this is like a 15 mins drive.
From a tourist perspective it’s totally missable.

I visited Serenity Beach during the evening and the way to go to the beach is quite narrow which sometimes leads to traffic congestion. The beach seems to be a place for fishing as there were a lot of boats around and it had the typical fish and sea smell. I would prefer other beaches if there is an option.

its a fishing boat parking beach. Out of route travelling for this beach not advised. the photograph is misleading

It has great views, but the beach is dirty. Went to nearby Auro beach as well, same state. Needs cleaning especillay in morning. Difficult to walk in the beach

We few friends from office from different location are meeting up in chennai and planning to visit and putting up in serenity beach. But in adress it is showing in Tamil Nadu. Is it possible to take alcohol from pondicherry to hotel in serenity beach. We are not drinking in beach but inside hotel room.

As I remember I was not checked for liquor on my way from Pondicherry to serenity beach. In any case if checked it's not a crime, just will be asked to pay the difference in excise duties.
Would anyone mention the places where snorkeling, scuba diving or kattumaram ride is available in pondicherry..?
