In diesem erholsamen und ruhigen Ort befindet sich diese kleine Kapelle und lädt den Besucher zum kurzen Innehalten ein. Liebevoll gepflegt und einfach - aber schön!

Chapel with a hollow statue
One passes this chapel on the way to ghosttown Leopoldsreut. Near the chapel is a bench so one can idle some time away or having a picknick. Stone Chapel with a beautiful wrought iron grille. Since 1966 the chapel protects a life-sized wooden John of Nepomuk, a statue with past, also known as the "Saccharin Saint". The hollow image was used during processions across the border to smuggle the sweetener "Sacharin".
