Will remember this place because my 5 and 7 y.o, kids learned to ski here. Great ski instructors Ksenija & Ivan - more than grateful for their patient approach and fun we had with them.

Lifts now open feb 1rst but very limited trails. Bad years happen. Over 40 years of skiing I've had the experience of skiing a single short barely blue trail in the pouring rain for all Christmas week at a major European resort one year and another year skied for a week on a couple very limited blue/green trails at a major western US resort. It's just part of the business.
For the very low cost I think that Kolasin is doing the best they can. Complaining about a 15 euro lift ticket is silly. Many resorts charge more than that for tubing or sledding alone. It is 1/10 the cost of a lift ticket at many big resorts. Ski rentals for 7 euro don't pay for computerized rental systems. I found food service on average for smaller European resorts I've skied. Bring lunch if the service is too slow. If you want American style food service ski in America and pay American prices
Nice small mountain. Low key, very personal, and extremely family friendly. On a decent snow year there are lots of places to play for people of all ability levels. The trees are so inviting, but not with this little snow. I will be back again next year hopefully to explore the entire mountain and also Kolasin 1600.

Even we had bed luck with very low snow thia winter it is unfair to pay ski pass full price for only one 300m ski lift and baby lift open. If it is called ski resort it should have at least one ski path covered fully with snow cannon. Even temperatures are bellow 0 here is only 4 snow cannons operating. We used the best of is but it was so frustrating.
Second problems is restaurant - even service staff is doing very good job restaurant kitchen can not produce meals for half restaurant capacity. Looks more like organisational problem. Food is very good.
There is no WiFi.
Ski rental house has poor organisation on ski equipment rental. They dont have any computer system to manage rented equipment, staff is writing all rented equipment on some small papers, colecting it around points. Poor rental organisarion event the staff is polite and fully on our service. Ski istructors are excelent, again organisation of finding one is bit slow.

Only one elevator was operating and it was ..drag. Just 200 meters - nothing for ride. The rest wasn’t operated due to “lack of snow” as they say. One of big of elevators was functioning as tourist interest - and we tried and saw that snow was enough. We’re very disappointed- stayed in expensive Bianca hotel for 5 days - and couldn’t ski at all. What a bad experience. Disaster mates who stayed there also was guessing that the staff was to lazy to operate the proper work of the ski resort.

I have been 20 year ago and I was surprised of the view. Same as before even restaurant was the same with the fireplace in the middle of it, when you may have hot wine and peshkavice (kind of big meatball) . We took the cable car to the top of the mountain and it was a nice panorama on the way. Many mountains surrounding you and people exited to be in such place. we just walked around and had pictures and taking some sun rays . you may stay a while but nothing to do more and turn back to the ski center. then kids were having fun with the snowboard to the proper area across ski salon.

We were hoping to take a walk but because of all the roadworks the area is like a building site with horrendous dust everywhere. It was really busy with lorries constantly going back and forwards.

בילו מספר ימים בעיירת הנופש נהננו מאוד, גם מהשוק, מהאנשים הטובים והאוכל המצויין במסעדות, מומלץ ביותר בתחנה בדרך למונטנגרו. בכל מקרה בחורף זה אתר סקי מופלא.

Twee kilometer voorbij Kolasin 1450 is een nieuw skicentrum geopend Kolasin 1600. De weg ernaar toe is nog niet voltooid, maar het restaurant en de stoeltjeslift zijn al geopend. Via de lift kom je op een prachtig uitzichtpunt, waarbij je ook de pistes van Kolasin 1450 goed ziet liggen. Niet te missen, ook in de zomer niet, als je in Kolasin bent.

Petit domaine de ski sans risques ou il n'existe aucune attente aux remontées mécaniques. Possibilité de monter jusque 2000 mètres avec le télésiège 2 places. Casque obligatoire pour les skieurs mineurs.

We are looking for a good place to go in Montenegro so we can ski and snowkite. Looking for a place we can take a bus or train to from the airport to resort or rental property. We do not want to have to rent a car. Do we need to bring our own ski equipment? thanks

The best I can do to get to your question is to advise you to google 1450 Kolasin and you’ll see the webcams of the ski resort.

Since you mentioned its easy to get to from town - could you let me know what are the ways to get to here from town?
Bus? Where do we get the bus from and what do we tell the driver etc? We don't speak Montenegrin, so we will struggle :D

There is much snow there at that time only in the northern part of Montenegro. Usually it is cold in January there. Sometimes it is too rainy in December. I advise you either Kolashin or Serbiya(Kopaonik)
