We took the Eco Canauxrama cruise, the cheapest walk and it was great, the Guide is very friendly and comical.
We could see the oldest neighborhood of Sète and the bridges getting lower and lower. Watch your head.

Very nice walk as the "FULL Excursion", first along the port (with at sea some nice speed sensations with this X-Boat zodiak), then visit canals and direction the pond of Thau.
Visit of oyster parks and meals (not included in the package - there is no tasting) in a fishermen's restaurant, but everything is well organized, the tables are already booked ...
Just the friendliness and humor of the pilot Youssef is worth a visit.

Superb commented ride with a great captain, Youssef. Very good explanations on Sète and on the oyster beds of the pond of Thau , an oyster tasting in Bouzigues , a lot of conviviality and humor from Youssef. I recommend.

After a - literally! - breathtaking car ride on Mont Saint-Clair, we were happy to be safely on the dock (but that whole thing aside, haha;)
Then we chose the spacious soap - at Sète Croisières we took the 'Sub Sea Explorer', with glass bottom. You don't see this at first, but you descend into the boat as soon as it docks at the oyster farm in the Étang de Thau. It is nice to see underwater how a fish swims around the oyster stalks every now and then.
Almost all seats are in the direction of travel, everyone has a good view of this open boat. The Guide told non-stop, in French. Not at all bad, because immediately upon boarding we got an extensive plasticized story with photos to borrow so we could read up on what was coming. And we found it no problem to simply enjoy the draft and the wind in our hair! We enjoyed the one and a half hour trip with beautiful views.
Tip: go a little later in the afternoon, it will be a little quieter and on hot days the sun will feel a little less bright.

Great time on the XBoat!
A discovery of Sète, original and very interesting! Canals, oyster farming activity and Thau Pond.
A beautiful culinary discovery also in an oyster farm.

We enjoyed the boat tour of an hour and a half, which allows to get out of Sete, take a tour on the pond, and have information on boats and oyster farming, a bit about mussel farming (at sea), in short shellfish farming 😀 Friendly Guide, which we support very well 1h1/2 😂

Shame on this company and the X-BOAT boat.
We are not tourists but inhabitants on Marseillan Plage (a shame for society). We knew this X-boat tour because we did it last year.
We had booked 3 weeks ago the excursion by X-boat, 80€ cashed. We are summoned at 13:45 on the platform for a Check-out at 14:00.
2:10 p.m., still nobody, we'll check at the physical point of sale. The hostess didn't seem to know that a boat was planned... a call from the hostess to "Eric", "no captain", nobody was planned or the captain decided not to come. We were not notified by phone or email. I demanded a cash refund. Especially do not go there, we found a backup plan by going to their competitor "Le bateau du canal Sète" just on the quay opposite for 24€ for 2, much more economical and extra services!
Really disappointed with the company Sète Cruises who only offered us a small tourist tour on a lambda boat full of people when we had booked a semi-rigid! Pass your way....

We are asked to arrive early, boat scheduled for 4 p.m., the boat arrives after 4:30 p.m., 10/15 minutes late is fine, more than 30 minutes without being notified is annoying! Moreover, when the boat arrives, no excuses...almost unpleasant staff! Once the ride begins, the other person on board is on top, he already starts by apologizing for the delay and explains the reason...everyone relaxes, the ride is really great with thousands of explanations provided with humor and we feels that the person is passionate about what he is telling us, the only problem is his microphone works very poorly! What a shame not to invest in a microphone!
In short, one person out of the 2 on board is super pleasant, the other meh, even when you ask questions it's quite cold and sloppy but the ride is still worth it!

Pleasant walk to the oyster farms of Bouzigues, on the other bank of the Thau basin. Numerous comments throughout the course, with a guide full of humor a bit from another time, but which made us laugh... Given that the aquatic conditions did not allow us to watch under the surface of the water, a small reduction of say 1 or 2 euros would have been welcome.

Bonjour, j'envisage cette excursion avec mon épouse, de mobilité partiellement réduite. Elle peut gravir quelques escaliers avec difficultés. Est-ce possible d'embarquer avec son fauteuil roulant pliable, léger (13kg) ? Merci pour votre réponse.
