At 1000 hrs made my way to the " Aerial Express Ropeway" for the cable ride to " Snow View point" from Mallital on Nainital Mall Road..Ticket cost was Rs 370 and every tourist is allotted a time limit of 1 hr at " Snow view point".I was in the first group batch of the day to ride up on the cable car and it was exhilarating watching Naini lake and the surrounding as we ascended in height.On reaching the summit of " SNOW VIEW POINT" headed to the actual Himalayan mountain viewing gallery. It was akin to the sighting from " Himalayan Darshan " viewpoint of Nainital but according to me the " HIMALAYAN DARSHAN VIEWPOINT" is much.better for viewing the Himalayan mountain range than " SNOW VIEW POINT". Tourists can also arrive by vehicles to " Snow View point" as there is a mountain road to the top besides the cable car.There is a adventure park on " Snow View Point" and excellent for kids and the youth as well as the young in mind and physique.Age is a numerical number for a few.There was a complimentary " Dinosaur Show" along with the cable ticket which was superb and on par with First World entertainment budget productions.The best dinosaur or horror show I have witnessed after viewing the film " Jurassic Park".later returned back to Mallital by the cable car.

It can be visited using Cable Car or Cab.
I will recommend Cab service. As using Cab once can do Complete Nainital site tour. There are around 7 attraction in Nainital.
Few more around Nainital like Nim Baba dham, bhimtal, hanuman tenple, Tea garden etc.
Refer below for local sight seeing cab. Very humble and nice person. High recommend.

We went to the point via the ropeway, with huge anticipation. However, a huge cloud cover completely obscured our view of the peak!

This should be the first activity in Nainital.
The view of the city and lake is so wonderful.
The cable car is safe and well-maintained.
The 360 degree ride in snow point is so panoramic…
Some fun activities are there as well.

Visited in June’22 by road as part of local tour. As the name suggest, we were told that the place offers view of snow clad peaks. However, no snow view instead it offered panoramic views of surrounding hills to us. It is a popular tourist destination for scenic views and photo ops and hence it was crowded. There is binocular available on rent at site @ Rs. 50 for closure view of surroundings. Also several tea and snacks shops were available at site.

Snow view point in Nainital is view point at the top of a hill. There's a ropeway available to reach the top area. It costs 350 two way per person for this ride. So keep your tickets safely till you completely you ride back. There is a man with a telescope at a very nominal price of Rs 20. You can enjoy the course view of the snow capped Himalayas at this point and click pictures. It's best to go between Dec and March when there's snowfall in the Himalayan region.
Unfortunately, the hill top area has been completely commercialized with plenty of shops and a silly dinosaur park. If you are not interested in all this like me, once you reach up, also directly about the his view point. Note that you get only an hour to roam around the place and need to take the ropeway ride back down.

Like Nainital View, this one is also a point along the highway from where you can see a panoramic view - in this case, of the snow-capped ranges north of Nainital. You get off your vehicle at this point (no signage, but besides the usual snack vendors, there are also some men offering telescopes through which you can see the ranges). We were unlucky; the day we arrived, it was cloudy in the distance and we couldn't see a single peak.

This view point can be accessed in two ways.either thru the rope way or by car. The view in may was obscured, n the locals say that the himalayas are visual from here. There are two view points at this location,one which shows the himalayas and the other which shows the lake. From here prominent locations like sherwood college,st Joseph's college etc can be viewed. The rope way costs ₹300/- per person and there are 10 people in one cable car. It takes three mins one way. The landing at snow view point has games arcade, eating joints, J&K emporium,uttarakhand textile shop etc..shud visit once.

On the other side of the hill, you can feel the magnificent Himalayas ... the great snow covered mountain covering the entire north of India. While, it looks wonderful, you can see the black patches on the snow, not sure, whether the snow melted even in mid-December and it's the bare rock or, it's the effect of pollution, as mentioned by a local vendor. I think, Himalaya is losing it's grandeur due to losing of snow cover/glaciers due to global warming and may look like just a series of rocky structures in next century. We all need to be really concerned and contribute our part to save this earth and our nature.
