The Tibetan market, also called as Bhotia market, of Nainital is one of the most popular street markets in town. The market is located surrounding the banks of Naini lake and adjacent to the Naina Devi temple. Due to its central location, it is perfect destination for street shopping. Wide varieties of winter wears like shawls, sweaters, mufflers, bags and other souvenirs and Tibetan food are available here.

Shop alcoholics paradise ! One can purchase pyjamas ,tops ,jackets ,mufflers , antiques , souvenirs ..... at affordable range .We picked Pyjamas for Rs 350 which are priced in Greater kailash, Delhi ,as Rs1000. There are many restaurants which are selling food items at affordable range and are hot favorites with tourists .You should have few hours to explore the place .Both Tibetan Market and Bhootia Market are adjoining each other .They say lot many things are from Thailand but there is no way to confirm it .We picked mufflers for RS 350 , really good ones from shop called Wangdi in Bhootia market .Most of the shops have similar stuff ,they say they have fixed price but if you are a good bargainer you can decrease the amount by 50 or 100 depending upon the item. Uttrakhand has recently built public convenience system in the market ,which you can use after paying Rs 5 .This was built on tourist demand as open urination is banned . Similar one is built on Mall road .These are a boon as tourists leave hotels in the morning and go back only in the night.

After visiting Naina Devi temple we walked through the Tibetan market. Beautiful, Vivid colors, full of variety and yes a bit overpriced. Be good at bargaining, please.

it is near mall road and naina devi temple.. place is over priced, someone visit this place to get cheap things, but gone those days.. it is over priced and alll things are imported from delhi.. go to delhi and get all things at cheap price in delhi rather than this.. go there and stroll but dont purchase ..
