The trek to Naina Peak is quite exhilarating, with well-defined trails that pass through dense forests of pine, oak, and deodar trees. The journey itself is an adventure, and the panoramic views become more awe-inspiring as you ascend to the peak. On reaching the top, you are rewarded with a magnificent 360-degree view of the entire region.
The view from Naina Peak is truly mesmerizing. On a clear day, you can see the majestic snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas, including Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Nanda Kot. It's a popular destination and so quite crowded. There was garbage all around. Sad that people don't care about their surroundings. Not worth the time. I feel that I should have spent the time trekking in the forest areas rather than visiting this place. The only positive was the view it gives of the lake and surrounding hills.

A wonderful trek with beatiful view of himalayas and top has the heart shape vow of nainital.As it is bird sanctuary ,we need it to be quite and pollution free place.

This bend in the road is where you can get a great view of Naini Lake: it looks like a paisley or a mango from this angle. There is no formal signage or structure here, just a few vendors selling packaged snacks - and there is invariably a bad traffic jam, since the road is too narrow for two lanes of traffic plus also the selfie-seeking tourists. Five minutes, even less, is all you need here.

We visited Nainital in Apr month. Nainital Peak point is one of the good attraction there. There is nice view from this top.

Visited this place while on a taxi tour around Nainital. The place has an incredible view. The lake viewed from the place looks very good

It was bit difficult to search this place as not much of display is done. But once you find it, park your vehicle around and start the mini-trek. 3 kilometers of sweet trail contains scents and views of fauna and flora and views of Himalayas will make this worth the effort. Once you reach there, on the top, the beautiful view of Nainital will take your breath away. Have a nice view, click photos and you can have a cup of tea and some noodles at the peak.

Must do hike if your at Nanital. 6-8 km walk will give you enough time to enjoy biodiversity of nanital with amazing view of the nani Lake and city once you reach peak. You don't require any guide, it's better to tag someone with you and don't forget to take your water bottle and energy bites.

Vehicles don’t go to Naina Peak. Fastest way to reach is to travel by road upto the motorable point. I forgot to ask the name of the point, but any local can tell you that. From that point, it is 3 Km uphill trek, very steep at some point. It is a 1.5 hr trek, if being done at very slow pace.

Naina Peak is open through out the almost 30 min drive through narrow road. It's also called as China peak. View of Nainital-is mesmerizing and Lake looks in mango shape. Good for photography. Small eat stalls available along the trek. You can also go by cable car which takes hardly 5 min and you need to buy ticket for that. No need to take any guide.

if you stay in city then 2 hrs is enough but make sure you go to Naina peak in the morning before 9 am to get the view of himalaya. once sun rises then you wont see the himalaya. this is really exciting scene to see himalya.

one hour on ponies ,tracking is not favourable in monsoons ,.if u r willing plz take umberella wd u ,road are muddy ,be carefull.whole jungle around .no water no shop .take all ur requirements wd u on tracking .try to start earlier .i think if ur healthy it will take three four hours .
