We had a brilliant time on our street food tour in George Town, Penang with SuLi. Not only did we try some amazing food but she taught us so much about the history, culture and architecture of Penang - we would highly recommend doing this tour with SuLi!

Had a great time with Lee as our host. A great balance of local history and food on this tour. A good amount of food and beverages at our 4 restaurant stops, with a snack in between. Lee for it right from the get go! Thanks for the fun and delicious evening 😀

Excellent tour with Su Li through old Georgetown not only sampling foodie delights from the different ethnic neighbourhoods but also being fed nuggets of wisdom regards history, cultures and architectural traits of the old city. Well worth your time 👍 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely experience with Grace. She was kind, warm, and informative. We saw so many gems of the city, and she took plenty of photos along the way. Highly recommended.

Lee was a phenomenal tour guide! She did an excellent job explaining the history and culture behind each dish, and the walks between food stops were distributed perfectly. You will leave a tour with her feeling full and wise!

Very informative and most certainly delicious!
This is a walking tour (at very leisurely pace) that incorporate history, culture and culinary delights.
Our tour guide Lee is very knowledgeable and engaging, the food choices were certainly excellent!
Best thing was that she took us to local places for local people for an authentic experience.

Lee was a fun, energetic guide to the diverse food scene in Penang. Her creative storytelling and commitment to her community made the tour a great experience. She was patient and attentive to each participant snd easily accommodated my vegetarian, pescatarian requirements.

We had a really great experience. It was the perfect start to our time in Georgetown as it introduced us to the main street foods to try and helped us get our bearings. We learnt a lot about the culture and it was nice to walk between each food stop to make room for the next meal! The final stop for a cocktail was a great bonus. Really well led tour and great energy from our guide Su Li!

The tour consists of a few different cuisines which covers a lot of popular local foods - would recommend if you don't have much time in Penang and want to try lots of different things.
Our guide Lee was an absolute delight - we tried delicious local foods but also got to know more about the history and culture of Penang thanks to her. She was a pleasure to walk and eat with and everyone in the group had a great time thanks to her.

Hi - I will be coming to Penang with a group of 8. Two families (each with children - 2 girls age 12 and 2 boys age 9 and 10). We are interested in a bespoke type tour, that is similar to what you describe above. We living in PJ at the moment and are excited to see more in Penang. Pleae let me know what you can do in terms of private tours, cost, etc.

We did this tour with Simply Enak in November 2019 and Mark was our guide. We were not only able to sample different kinds of food in Penang originating from diverse cultures but also gain an insight into the history and interesting stories in this amazing city. Mark grew up in the city, has a good education and becomes a guide to introduce people to the place he loves. We were thoroughly impressed with his service.

Hi We are a couple originally from Malaysia now living overseas & are interested in only LOCAL FOODS & DURIAN, sightseeing optional. How much would it cost? We will need 2 days of eating the best of local foods in May 2017.

Thank you for contacting us at Simply Enak Penang. The tour can accommodate up to 8 person. The price per person would be RM250. The price includes the guide, food ordered during the tour and non alcoholic beverages.
If you have 4 person per booking, we would be able to give you a group booking package.
