We did the jet ski activity and it was a real pass, recommended 100% and with spectacular views throughout the tour. The Northern Mountains boys were very friendly and the monitor explained everything very well, plus he accompanies you during the trip. We just finished the experience. We had a great time riding the bikes, even being cloudy you enjoy the experience a lot. Discover the cliffs from the sea and share with the family a walk along the Asturian coast with our Maxi monitor the best. Fully recommended, a hit. Lockers, neoprenes, motorcycles all like new. We will certainly repeat when we return.

We were there on August 23, parents and children (15 and 20 years old) doing the Sella descent. It was not the first time we did it, so we chose Montañas del Norte on this occasion because it is the only company that gives the possibility (if the conditions of the sea, wind, etc., and the physical fitness of the rowers are adequate) to carry out the complete Olympic route (20 km), from Arriondas to the Ribadesella bridge itself and even a little further, to the estuary beach, already in Ribadesella. The rest of the canoe companies at most allow you to reach the Llovio bridge, 4 km before (16 km in total), which is not bad at all and is the most beautiful route, but for us this possibility of doing the Olympic route was important. complete and reach the beach.
We went at the 11:15 shift and I recommend doing the descent in this shift or better in the previous one at 10:30, to have margin, since at 6:00 pm, by regulations, no one can be left in the river .
We were met by Daniel (I think) at the Ribadesella facilities on Pico Street, very friendly and gave us basic instructions and then transferred us to Arriondas José, also charming and professional, who explained several things to us about points on the river and to whom We conveyed our interest in reaching the Ribadesella bridge, which we had already done before until Llovio. He told us that, in principle, there was no problem, but that it depended on the sea and the wind, because in certain circumstances, it could be very difficult or almost impossible to get there, among other things because they are flat-bottomed kayaks that navigate very poorly. against the waves.
We left Arriondas, we really enjoyed a stop to eat and swim, although our goal was to go at a pace to be able to arrive on time. Of course the river was full of people in canoes, they told us that there must have been around 2,000 people making the descent, so in many sections there are crowds and it seems like a game of crash canoes (small involuntary and safe collisions). When we arrived at the Llovio bridge, my children were already there waiting for us anxiously, in case because it took "so long" (we arrived in 2h 55, at pace, but without killing us and without counting the stop) they would not let us continue to the Ribadesella bridge , for arriving late. They told us that the conditions were not completely good, but they were not very bad either and as they saw us in shape, with interest and on time, they let us continue. At this point, thank José for supporting us (thank you Jose) and also the head of the company who was warned and with whom we spoke by phone informing us of the situation and who allowed us to continue. I appreciate the professional behavior and if the conditions were not bad, that they would allow us to continue. In the end, for the company, the easy thing is to say that the sea is very bad and that they do not let you - they recommend continuing and not taking the risk that someone will not be able to get there and they will have to go to rescue them with a boat or jet ski (in the end The channel is already wide and the rescue is a bit complicated).
From the Llovio bridge it took us 53 more minutes to the beach (4 km) and it was not difficult (the tide is going out) beyond the hours we had already been paddling.
We beached the canoes on the beach as instructed in front of the beach bar, so that the tide does not take them away if it rises.
The truth is that it was a pleasure to do the last 4 km alone after having shared the river with 2,000 people in the first km. While already on the beach, after a while, a young couple also arrived (also from Northern Mountains), but no one else...
This last stretch is not the most beautiful, but it is totally different and it is exciting to see Ribadesella, the Olympic final bridge, and the beach approaching.
We enjoyed it very much.

Spectacular. It has no other name. It's not riding a jet ski, it's the environment, which makes it even more unique. Si las condiciones del rio son óptimas, a partir de 5 años se puede bajar.
Lo mas recomendable es que vayan situados en el medio de la canoa, (entre dos adultos).
