Genting is the most terrible, most rude and most stingy casino in the world. [I won at this casino anyway and will not go again for all the Genting casinos in the world.]
Absolute shouting arena. Rude dealers and staffs everywhere. Often shout at customers causing nuisance which is illegal and can be sued for such action. Low paid dealers with no future. Dealers are inexperienced rude youngsters. Payout is super slow, easy math but need to count many times.
Absolute smoking den, terrible for health. No staffs care to enforce non-smoking policy.
Lousiest slot machine payout in the world, don't ever touch, you can't win jackpot, don't even dream about it. No payout ratio is specified, and they change the payout ratio by themselves by their own will without your notice.
Lousy baccarat payout. Don't play their baccarat as banker six only pays half (you bet 5k but you get 2.5k only and lose the other 2.5k). Lucky 6 only pays 12 but not 20 times on a 3-card banker six. The baccarat burns one card on each round that other casinos don't do.
No blackjack tables because casino afraid to lose.
Points and meals are so hard to earn. Only give you one cheap lousy meal to redeem for every RM12k (around USD 3k) play at machines. The meal is not even a proper meal with such pity amount of meat.
No good hotel for free. Only give prison-like hotel for free (coffin size room with hard bed), but you don't always get free hotel. Hotel has no toothpaste and brush, you have to buy it in vending machine LMAO HAHA. For some rooms you need to make the bed yourself also LMAO HAHA.
Don't go and I predict the casino will be closed in future.

Must take winter clothes with you. It's quite cold here, if you want to spend quality time with your partner, bring her here. She will be very happy for you and love you a lot

There is no blackjack table, mostly baccarat and a few other types of table game. There are Pontoon tables which is not Blackjack as they require different strategies to play well. Singapore casinos are so much better. Both RWS and MBS have many blackjack tables. Why Genting cannot provide blackjack table games?

1) payout from slots is super duper POOR! free games are difficult to come by and when it does, payout is still poor! even mini is hard to come by as compared to the past! Think Genting is trying to recover the huge losses from their HK cruise venture. Bad investment failure so taking out on customers!
2) NO SMOKING SIGN just outside the toilets, but smokers puffing their lungs out just outside the toilets. Genting staffs said they cant do anything. That's total disregard to the law and mockery of the Malaysia government.
3) wear whatever you want, round neck tee shirt, shorts, slippers - all can enter. Gone are the days where proper attire is compulsory!
4) whole arena is filled with smoke and as one other reviewer mentioned, all the inconsiderate punters just smoke AND vape whenever and wherever they like, walking around like coal train head with a lit cigarette!
5) poor ventilation! fresh air used to be circulated in from the outside through many big fans outlet, now it is just cigarettes smoke and carbon diioxide!
Terrible place! Hope Genting continue to do poorly!

Had a very short walk. Few minutes only. Very crowded, many ATM machines all around. Smoking allowed inside. Photos not allowed.

Looks grand from the outside, but smells bad inside - full of smokers. To be fair, there are some areas that is for not that smelly.
Had very few selection of free drinks. Didn't want to stay too long because the slots are not that fun.. It was ok experience.

Read the reviews before I visited so didn’t actually expect to be able to go to casino as I wasn’t going to wait hours to get a card - BUT that turned out to not be the case at all, maybe the process has changed since the reviews but here’s what I had to do:
Go to a machine (no queue), use passport and put in personal details etc, let machine take a photo of me, then machine gives me a card.
Then went into casino, didn’t play any table games. Played Roulette Machine by putting card in, then cash. Winnings went onto card (had a good couple of hours and left with 10 times the cash I started with ;) ) Took the card to a cash out machine in the casino and withdrew the cash I won.
It’s a fairly big casino, nothing too special about it. Just thought I’d review so others could see the process to get in. You can’t take big bags in, but there are lockers available. I took a small bag in no problem. Also I saw something about a TEMPORARY card for visitors when I was leaving, so possibly this would be an even easier process.
