I’ve signed up very recently to the golf course. I was unsure of which membership to go for so I went into the pro shop and had great help from Adam and Jack. Service is next to none. With being a new golfer, I was quite sceptical going into a new environment, but there was nothing to worry about. Thank you!

Golf Course.
Due to injury I have not played for two months, but have read the reviews on the Emerald Course especially. So really pleased to play 15 holes today, the course is superb, and i managed to congratulate Charlie Ashbrook personally, who was spraying the green's. All of the green staff have excelled this last 18 months, with the right people and tools for the job, my hope is that McDonald's continue to fund the golf and rejoice in the feedback the courses are receiving.

Went for a golf break and wasn’t disappointed. The golf courses were good and the hotel was great and made even more pleasurable by Kaela,Ed and Izzy service in the restaurant.

Not a very nice place unless you like dogs 🐕 dog droppings everywhere and dogs on the golf course not on leash walking around when people are trying to play golf no one interested and no one cares so keep away

Played the Sapphire Course tonight as I wanted a local game and it popped up as £20 on Golf Now.
The course is terrible, in the post COVID world it's legacy will be that the Golf team there gave up on the course. Bunkers grassed over, really poor overall maintenance and just not enough attention to make it nice.
You can see that in the past is was nice and some decent water features still exist but greens aren't the best, fairways too long and hedges have grown in too much in many places.
Navigation of the course is awful, sign post of the holes not easy, very poor green to tee directions....I lost a bunch of time staring at the map trying the figure our where to go next. It's so closed off in places you have zero idea where you are hitting towards.
I should point out I did not play the Emerald course and would hope that is in a better state but the Sapphire has been forgotten so I would not hold out much hope that the other course is in a better condition. Round was worth £5 not £20.

Good spot for a relaxing time. Set amongst 2 golf courses and away from main roads it's a very good location. Modern well maintained hotel with comfortable rooms. Didn't use the pool but it looked an excellent facility.
Stayed on a golfing break with 30 others and we were well looked after with good food.
One criticism was the price of drinks, and I'm not a big drinker, but house wine at £18 for 2 large glasses, with a 10% discount was excessive.
Would go there again, but certainly drink in moderation.

We only live 30 minutes away from Hill Valley but this is the first time we have played it. I don't know why but I wasn't expecting much and we found a really interesting golf course in great condition. Not very long but it is quite tight with lots of trees and you need to think about your tee shots. The greens were in great condition, rolled well and overall we really enjoyed our round.
The staff in the Pro Shop and bar were very welcoming and made it a nice experience. The price was a bargain too which always helps!

We had a 2 day break bought us for a wedding gift so we decided on this hotel. The hotel and surroundings were lovely, the bar & restaurant staff were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant both nights which was ok but wouldn't eat there if we returned, it was over priced for what we got. The drinks were also expensive.

We played both courses- both were wet, particularly The Sapphire.
Could do with better signage on The sapphire, as when you walk up to it and around the course, a few holes it wasn't clear which way to go. the yardages were very inaccurate, particularly with the yellow and red markers on the course.

The accommodation was great: clean and roomy and the staff were helpful.
I was also happy to find the course had been kept in good condition over winter, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time.
