Don Don Donki is a Japanese discount retailer that has opened up quite a few shops in nearby Hong Kong over the past 3-4 years. They opened their first shop in Macau in Sept 2021 along Rua Do Patane on the Macau Peninsula. Opening hours are 8am to 2am daily.
What you will find is a surplus retailer with aisles crammed with discounted items intended for the Japanese consumer market but somehow finding their way to the shelves of the quirky themed Don Don Donki shops. Loads of snacks, drinks, candy, packaged and fresh food as well as toys, household and everyday products, accessories, stationary and other low-cost items for buyers to pick over. It is sort of a hybrid of an American Wal-Mart and Japanese speciality shop.
