We used Rana's services for the first for days of our holiday.
We messaged him beforehand and told him what we wanted to do and he gave us a price which was extremely reasonable compared to others offering the same service.
He collected us from the airport, he arranged all the tickets for the places we wanted to see (Polonnaruwa, Pidurangala, Sigiriya, and Hurulu national park and then finally dropping us down to Kandy.
For the national park, he checked beforehand as to which of the three in the area had the greatest number of elephants do we could get the best experience. We ended us seeing over 60 elephants in their national habitat over a 2 hour period.
Great communication before we arrived which gave us confidence as we'd never done a holiday quite like this before.
He's very knowledgeable and has lots of contacts around the country.
I would highly recommend Rana to anyone thinking of visiting Sri Lanka to give you peace of mind.

Rana organised much of my travel around the Cultural Triangle and Kandy. He is a really genuine, honest, friendly helpful guy with very fluent English who you can have a real discussion about Sri Lanka and the various options for what to do without the pushy sales pitch that you get elsewhere. He has great knowledge and contacts to organise travel, accommodation and sightseeing at reasonable local costs, not the overpriced tours you see advertised elsewhere. I can't recommend him enough, with him you have a local friend who is happy to sort out anything you want to do.

Via Rana een Safari geboekt, onwijs leuke man. Veel te vertellen over het land. Prijs was goed. Onze driver op Safari was top, zorgde voor goede spots en met het meegebrachte water en watermeloen zorgde hij ervoor dat we complete trip hadden. Echt een aanrader!

I had a packed two days with Rana. I would highly recommend. He gave me good insight on the places I wanted to go, and extra information on my travels afterward. I was happy to have found him. Nice, kind and very helpful. He answered my questions quickly on WhatsApp as well.
My driver was also excellent. I was happy to have him along for the ride, he pulled over when elephants were in a nearby field and other animals which was great since I didn't have time to book a safari. And on the long hot days of temple walking, he took me from place to place instead of walking the entire way. I was very thankful to have him.

I was somewhat unprepared, rather even misinformed / misguided that I could engage a jeep to Hurulu Eco Park at the ticket counter. I had arrived at the park at around 1 pm in time for the afternoon safari, and soon realised there were no jeeps to be hired there. I rushed back to Habarana town, and luckily found Rana's travel counter there. Rana was quick, he understood my needs, called a few contacts and in the next 5 minutes arranged for a jeep at a reasonable cost (around 5k LKR). The driver was good, polite and though not exceptional, was sufficient for me to have a good experience of visiting the park and seeing the elephants. Wouldnt have been posisble if not for Rana's initiative and help.

We booked a safari to see the elephants with Rana and got a lovely driver who knew everything and showed us the best sites. Rana also helped us to arrange bus and byke rides without charging anything, gave us precious informations and managed to give us cheap Sim cards to our mobiles, being friendly and concerned with our needs. Strongly recomended.

We had an excellent experience with Rana. Very nice guy who was very knowledgeable. English was excellent so he was able to communicate with us effectively. We had a good car and driver who took care of us throughout our trip. The driver was punctual and we had cold fresh water provided with our trip. We would highly recommend his services in the future.

Yes, I do arrange jeep safari to kaudulla and Minnesota parks. From where (the place start)are you are traveling to Ella?

Hi, we are just comparing prices for tours. How much should we expect to pay for a 3 day tour including a cooking class and safari in Kaudulla? We have been quoted $320 for 2 people for 3 days (this includes lots of sites along the way but not entrance fees). I have a feeling this is a bit expensive! Would be useful to hear what others have paid for similar experiences. Thank you

sorry for the delay respond, yes it is expensive . i can do sigiriya, dambulla cave temple, polonnaruwa, anuradapura (A/C Car), jeep safari to kaudulla ( luxury jeep), cooking class. for $ 260. entrance tickets are not included.
