After several hairpin bends you reach the top of the mountain, from which opens this wonderful view towards Lugano and all the ceresio , in my opinion the place is ‘unmissable .
There is also a very suggestive kiosk that was closed during our visit.
All around silence, all around magic.

Spectacular view, shame there was a bit of haze, but it will be one more reason to come back soon.
It will be interesting to see the renovated tree. At the moment we could see a nice bar open.

After the panoramic visit from the old cable car, climb above Lanzo d'Intelvi, until you reach the breathtaking view from the Balcony of Italy, Sighignola! the 360-degree panorama, Switzerland and its beauties. Lake Lugano, Ceresio,, Chiasso and Campione d'Italia! The mountains that make up the Alps, such as Monte Rosa and Matterhorn! The historic church nel.bosco. in short, the best for a day between lakes and nature, colors , find yourself among the peace of the senses! Highly recommended!!!!

Beautiful views over both Italy and Switzerland. However, it is highly recommended to visit, just make sure it is clear, not too cloudy. That's when you see the most.

I'm glad I made the drive up to the top to experience the views. The latter part of the road up, Via Sighignola is a bit rough in places with some tight bends but it's still an easy drive. If coming from.the Lugarno /Campione end the Strada Valmara road is quite narrow with tight hairpins..a bit of reversing will be required if you meet traffic. Coming from the Porlezza end is much easier plus you drive around the side of Lago di Lugano for a while.
The views from the top are stunning..plenty of parking, not many people about, and a cafe with good coffee ..takes cash only.

Ottimo posto e ottimo Skyline posto eccellente da venire in famiglia o con amici complimenti su è consigliato venire vestiti con il giubbotto perché ci sono temperature alte

You need a good SLR, don’t go with a manual transmission car, unless you know your biting point. Not good for a group of more than 5 people, road to peak is very narrower and bendy. It’s 1387 meter above sea level. Visit on a clear summers day

non ce alcun biglietto da comperare nè per adulti e neanche per bambini. con i trasporti publici non posso aiutarti non so. noi siamo andati su in macchina. Sul posto ce un piccolo baretto e ha qualche dolce da assaporare

Non si paga nulla l'unica cosa il parcheggio non é tantissimo soprattutto quando sono in corso manifestazioni turistiche locali per il resto il panorama da qui é stupendo e d'estate si riesce ad avere un bel refrigerio se si viene come me dalla città
