Simple walk, also suitable for children who want to walk (no strollers). Be careful as some steps are unprotected. Well-marked trail, lasted an hour and a half.
Gorgeous views and views with wow effect cave!! Last part of the most challenging walk with useful ropes to hold on if needed. Better to have hiking boots because the rock is slippery and often wet.
Very crowded route, despite being at the end of September, many foreigners with buses.

Visit carried out on July 31 with a very good and prepared environmental guide. Route with breathtaking views. Lovely and charming forgers scratch, Accurate explanations about fauna, flora and geology of the area. A big applause to Andrea, the guide, for preparation and sympathy. There were three of us so it was a kind of walk among friends with great cultural value. It is not clear why such a precious area has not yet become a natural park!

We went for a walk and why not go to the counterfeiters' cave!
We left the rental car and started following the very well-marked path.
The path alternates uphill and flat...quite shaded, but if you go in the hottest season I highly recommend bringing water!
Better to have shoes that keep the ankle firmly in place...presence of rocks and stones along the way. Last stretch to reach the counterfeiters' cave is quite steep but there is a rope to help...but it's very doable! At the bottom of the slope....from the window you can see paradise!!
And to think that all this was created when it was below sea level!

Spectacular cave in the middle of the Ligurian mountains.
Reachable on foot, you have to pass through a large "crack" to enter inside. In good weather it is something wonderful!
Go there, even you Italians who complain that in Italy there are no beautiful places like abroad! 🇮🇹🩵

Panoramic place that can be reached by taking a detour from the Pilgrim's Path. Not very easy to reach due to the uneven and rather steep terrain, although 'facilitated' by ropes. Footwear suitable for this type of excursion is essential. The panorama you can admire is suggestive... a real 'window' on the sea.

Arrivarci non è cosa banalissima , però merita la fatica . L' importante è non andarci in ciabatte come fanno tanti gitanti improvvisati . La via più semplice è salire dalla parte occidentale di Noli seguendo il sentiero per i ruderi delle chiese di San Lazzaro e poi di Santa Margherita . Già qui , a picco sulla scogliera , ci saranno ottime visuali sul mare sottostante . Altri bei panorami ci saranno poco dopo presso l' Eremo del Capitano D'Albertis . Fate però attenzione perchè alcuni punti sono esposti . Salendo ancora pochi minuti si arriverà ad un bivio indicato , in cui il sentiero scende a sinistra sino ad un costone roccioso molto panoramico . Qui inizia il tratto più difficile . In realtà è solo una discesa piuttosto ripida in cui ci si può aiutare con delle corde , ma è meglio avere calzature adeguate . Si giunge così all' imbocco superiore della grotta in cui si entra con un minimo di agilità . La posizione è molto scenografica perchè l' antro si spalanca totalmente verso l' azzurro del mare sottostante . All' interno ci sono due " terrazze " pietrose sovrapposte in cui può stazionare un po' di gente , facendo comunque attenzione a non scivolare di sotto , visto il bel salto che farebbe cadere sulla sottostante Statale Aurelia . Il ritorno si fa sulla stessa strada , a meno che non si voglia salire sino in vetta al promontorio di Capo Noli per poi scendere a Varigotti lungo il più lungo ed impegnativo Sentiero del Pellegrino .

Si trova lungo il sentiero del Pellegrino. Purtoppo non è sempre ben segnalato.
La discesa è parecchio impegnativa, ci sono corde per aiutarsi ma cmq bisogna prestare molta attenzione. Certo una volta raggiunta ne vale la pena, il panorama dalla grotta e dal balcone sotto è davvero suggestivo. Consiglio di andarci eni giorni settimanali

Absoluter Traum mit mega Aussicht ist ein Erlebnis. Etwas viel touristisch aber ganz ok. Der Wanderweg zur Grotta ist echt schön mit mega Aussicht.

We wilden graag naar de grot. In het plaatsje nergens een aanwijzing hoe we daar moesten komen. Ook onderweg geen aanwijzing. Heel jammer. Maar toch doorgezet en zeker de moeite waard.
Voor degene die het ook niet kunnen vinden. Achter hotel Monique bij de parkeerplaats links naar achteren Via 25 Aprile op. Dan de borden volgen naar een kerkje Margarita ( een ruïne) en dan het wandelpad op. Goed uurover gedaan.

Come detto da altri il parcheggio di via XXV aprile è il piu comodo. Occhio che le multe alle macchine dei turisti sono implacabili. Se vai alla grotta paga almeno 3 ore anche se ne bastano due. Per 3 minuti di sformento pagato 18€ di multa....

Ciao! Mi piacerebbe raggiungere la Grotta a piedi da Spotorno. Sapete dove prendere il sentiero per evitare di fare l’Aurelia? Grazie :-)

Ciao. Partendo da Spotorno non saprei dirti. Arrivando tuttavia sull'altopiano della Manie vi è un sentiero che passando dal "Semaforo" ti permette di scendere fino alla Grotta dei Falsari

Se parti da Finale, Ti conviene salire alle Manie, magari anche con il bus che fa servizio pubblico. Prima del ristorante Ferrin c'è un sentiero molto agevole sulla destra, poi più avanti ci sarà un bivio e, se non ricordo male, tieni sempre la sinistra

quanto meno dalla via Aurelia non mi risulta che ci sia l'indicazione. Credo che si debba passare attraverso un vecchio cancello posto proprio al margine dell'Aurelia e poi da quel punto salire in direzione ponente. Mi dispiace, atre informazioni non sono in grado di dare.

Ciao ...no non la trovi. Devi salire sul sentiero ed a un certo punto vedrai un bivio con l'indicazione. Se scendi (verso destra) cinque minuti arrivi
