Nice place to stop for a hike. You drive so much in Ireland you have to stop periodically to stretch your legs. Nice big car park. Free parking. The hike is free. It is a working sheep farm but the owners let people have access so the can hike up to the caves. Nice trek steep going up and down. Neat caves. Great view from the top.

This is a very pleasant excursion, although it is quite remote and the only shelter in the parking lot is under some trees. We took a cab from Sligo (about 70 Euro each way) - there's probably much cheaper ways to get there. I'm not in great shape and it took me 25 minutes to get to the caves from the parking lot - fairly steep section with climbing and stairs. The steepness wasn't an issue for me, but the flat part through the field and up to the stairs was slick mud in the rain and that was more of a concern. Wear good shoes that can get dirty. Having said that, my teens did the hike in 20 minutes in their Crocs :-)
The caves are fairly plain - no stalagmites/stalactites, but a beautiful view and it's interesting to think about the people who have used these caves over the centuries. Also, most of our Ireland trip was in urban areas, so it was refreshing to be in a quiet spot with few to no people. Apparently if you dig further into the caves. you can find bats and perhaps other items of interest; we didn't go digging too deep.
Note, this isn't a picnic spot - there isn't a garbage can and you are on private property; it's just a nice walk. We were on site for 1.5 hours and that was more than enough to hike up and down and poke around the caves.

The view from above is certainly impressive if you can manage the steep climb.
We didn't feel like doing that, so we just took photos from below and moved on.

Anyone with an interest in geology and great scenery should take the time to visit. A short distance from Sligo, there is no entrance fee but the walk is a bit steep and once at the caves, the paths between them quite narrow. The views are sublime with some caves easily traversed and others quite small.

This is a great walk, but somewhat steep at times. It is only .8 miles from the parking lot to the caves, so breaks can be taken. There is also a bench about half-way up. Wear hiking shoes since the ground is uneven. You should also know you will be walking through fields so it can be mucky and there is sheep $#1t, but don't let that turn you off. We loved it!!!! The view from the caves is awesome.

We didn't walk up to the caves because it was raining, but it looks fantastic even just looking up at them is amazing. Good for walkers and people with good legs.

What a magical place to visit, the walk is easy enough up to the caves, remember to take some water if it's hot. It's worth walking along to check all of the caves, some are very large, others small. One particular cave gets smaller and smaller until you reach a small hole which looks incredible. Totally worth a visit if you are in Sligo county.

Wow what an amazing view, the Caves of Keash, do not disappoint. This is a great place to visit, a bit of a steep path up but definitely worth the effort. Do not go on a rainy day!

Once you get up there it is a stunning view, but it's a steep climb and in places quite narrow. It is well worth a visit though.

The caves aren't impressive - damp, small, muddy floored, no notable wildlife or archaeology. The climb is a short, steep walk, difficult in places. But the view is superb. You're not that high up, yet you can see for miles over a 180 degree vista. We were there in the evening, with the sun glinting off a small lake a mile or two away. Magical. Loved it.
