I've been travelling to Cyprus for holidays all my life but this year I decided to complete a PADI open water scuba diving course. Over the years I've had the opportunity to check out a few of the diving schools around the area but out of all the choices I chose Windmills Diving Centre. Run by instructors Mike and Arron they made me feel confident and relaxed that they had the combined experience to help me pass.
They have a natural ability to make you feel comfortable and relaxed while completing the various underwater skills needed to pass the PADI qualification. If at anytime I was anxious or uncomfortable we stopped and waited till I was ready - it was all about me and moving at a pace that suited my ability.
As well as the practical they helped as helped me to understand the theoretical side of diving. I now have the confidence and skills to continue my adventure into the underwater world. Qualified to 18 metres I can’t wait till next year when I return to complete my PADI Advanced open water so my adventure can go deeper.

Mike and Aaron took me for my first ever diving experience with another couple and they made me feel really comfortable and relaxed. They talked us through everything that we would be doing and how to communicate while diving. Both Mike and Aaron were really easy to get along with and easy to have a laugh with and I would definitely recommend windmills diving to anyone and looking forward to coming back.

Great to be back at Windmills with Mike and Aaron. I always feel completly at ease and wonder where the last four months has gone since I was here last. Professional and competant as usual. I only wonder what has happened to the rating system - almost a perfect score (so it's not just me that appreciates them) but they are so far down the listt.

Hi Joe thank you for a lovely review and always good to see you, yes our ranking. It would seem there was a bit of jealousy about our good reviews from the owner of another centre local, apparently they were worried we were going to go above them in the rankings, So made a story up and complained about us to trip advisor. It is now very difficult to prove. But never mind our customers speak for them selves, and what goes around comes around, good luck to them.

Me and my wife went to these guys having never dived before. We spoke to Mike who recommended a taster session. Joe took us for our taster session at green bay where we dived for almost an hour. It was absolutely fantastic. Joe gave us brilliant tuition and supervision from him and an amazing experience. Any questions we had were answered and explained in detail. I 100% recommend this place.

Very friendly, knowledgeable and safety thinking dive center. The dives are really relaxing and grate.
We were at several different dive sites and everyone had a good briefing and walkthrough so that it was clear what to expect from the dive.
I recommend others to dive with Windmills divers !

The crew is extremely friendly and knowledgable. We did 10 dives together whilst we visited Cyprus, all 10 were really great. All dives were planned to accommodate our interests and skills, all turned out really great. We got lots of great pictures and new experiences. I highly recommend everyone to dive with those guys. Special thanks to Big Joe and Mike for great service and friendliness.

Mike our instructor was brilliant from start to finish as was his assistants felt completely at ease at all times and the experience was brilliant crystal clear waters and feeding the fish it was an experience we will never forget and cannot wait to do it again

Gjorde 3 dyk med Windmills, Green Bay samt 2 dyk på Zenobia. Mycket bra guide, även om jag har dykt på Zenobia innan så känns det alltid bra med en trygg guide som är erfaren på dykplatserna. Mycket bra dykutfärder till bra priser!

It's my second review about Windmills; the first one was based on my 1off Discover Scuba experience. This time I have returned to Protaras to practice and improve my diving skills as a newly qualified OW Diver and I was not disappointed. I've had a really great time with you guys. Mike - thank you for being so patient with me and so accommodating when it came to arranging the trips around our specific needs; Aaron - thank you for adding an extra educational value to our trips - your fresh and modern interpretation of the Greek Mythology has made me cry with laughter; Nicole and Alex - thank you for your assistance during the dives, I really enjoyed your company. Diving with you guys was a great pleasure and fun. I can now officially proclaim that my holiday was fantastic! Thank you and I hope to see you again 😀

Hello, we are 2 divers (CMAS 2 stars and PADI rescue diver). We will be in Protaras the next days (28-30 July).
We have seen dive sites like Liberty wreck, blue hole and Lady thetis.
We need information about prices and to which places it is possible to go diving those days.

Hi thankyou for getting in touch, our dive prices depend on the number of dives you would like to do and if you have your own equipment or not,
A 10 dive package with all your own equipment is €200
A 10 dive Package with our equipment is €380
A discover scuba dive is €55

Coming to Protaras in 2 weeks time and my husband has said he would like to try Scuba Diving. He has not done it before (apart from in a swimming pool 8 years ago). How long are your beginner lessons. I am not a strong swimmer and am not over confident in the water, so would I be able to come along just to watch? How much will this cost?

Hi and thank-you for showing an Interest in Windmills diving, we have beginner courses that start from €190 but i alway recommend that you come and take part in a discover scuba dive, this is for the absolute beginner and takes about 3 hours, the cost of this is €55 and if your husband enjoys this and wants to continue we will deduct the €55 off the cost of what ever course he would like to take.
You are welcome along with your husband every time and there is no cost to you at all
