A real gem of a display. The curator was so informative and helped us navigate the various pieces on display. The garments are beautiful and have accompanying text that explain the background. It’s a “can’t miss” experience!!

The collection is incredible. This is a must see. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. Lots of information about each costume on digital info boards. Parking may be difficult to find, so allow time to find a parking space on nearby streets. Otherwise walk to the Collection.

One of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful, collection of Greek clothing "Victoria G. Karelia". Many congratulations and thanks to the President of the Kalamata Greek High School, Mrs. Victoria Karelia, and to all the participants. The place is also great. Excellent reception and service. Impressive and technological infrastructure. I have no words to describe it. I wish the whole world would visit it.

A wonderful collection presented in a modern informative manner; the touch screen information was excellent. The costumes are in fantastic condition and beautifully displayed. The staff were really helpful and enthusiastic which is always a plus. If you have an interest in traditional costumes or in Greece and Greek history then I think this is a must see site in Kalamata.

Beautiful collection of traditional XIX - century costumes from all over Greece, nicely arranged. A lot of information regarding the displayed objects is accompanying.

This is a museum that would rival or better any in London for the quality of the display and the way to understand what was on display via touch screen displays. Really should be picked up by bigger institutions.
The clothes are beautiful and display the evolution of Greek costume as well are regional variations. The staff were hugely informative and were rightly proud of where they are working.
This is a private collection and I just wish I could see more.
One warning, the entrance door is locked and you need to ring the bell!
