The thermal baths for the cure and the thermal baths for history. The thermal spring has been known for 2500 years for its multiple therapeutic properties, coming from its sulphurous waters, chlorobromo iodides and therefore rich in radium and rare gases. The most evident factor is the temperature of the water, which flows from the bottom of the earth at 1200 m, at temperature, close to the body, at 42 degrees, which is beneficial for rheumatists who cannot take cold baths. From the first century BC, the Romans settled near the hot spring and built thermal baths, on the site of the current troglodyte, Gallo-Roman building, made of Rogne stone. These ingenious Romans built a well to capture these waters that arise at a depth of Five meters, at the base of the lower Cretaceous limestone, between the ravine of Laval and the Verdon, located one kilometer from the center of the village of Gréoux. The water thus channelled is used in the thermal establishment that rises on the spring. Moreover, the name Gréoux comes from the Celt Gresumlin declined from Gresum for Disease and Lin for Water. This gave the divine name of the village of, Nymphis Griselius, cad, the nymphs of Gryselium, knowing that the nymphs are goddesses and goddesses of nature, found in the springs, namely - Water for diseases - and popularly became Greoulx and Greoux. The term, Les Bains, was added in 1923, to highlight its thermal past. Fallen into oblivion during the Middle Ages, after the fall of the Roman Empire, the knights of the Templar Order, returning from the holy wars, came to rest and take care of it, for the healing virtues of its waters. Today, the thermal baths of Gréoux are classified as the third spa town in France. Under the azure sky of Provence, La Chaîne Thermale du Soleil, has built a haven of well-being, in the cradle of nature of a large park, in a modern architecture, which houses 20,000 m2 of reception and care services, on 2 floors, served by an elevator, to treat, fitness, and pamper, 40,000 curists, by a care course , in rheumatology, respiratory tract and therapies of ills of our contemporary time, with waters containing calcium, magnesium, sulphur and boron. The first prescription for care dates back to 1874. There are 17 Thermal Physicians in the Thermal Baths, 80 Thermal Care Workers, 2 Nurses, 15 ED Physiotherapists, 1 Dietitian Nutritionist, 2 Physical Things to Do Educators, 1 ED Podiatrist. The thermal baths provide a panel of 35 treatments, with 132 multipurpose airway stations, including 15 manosonic aerosol stations, 2 weightless mud-kaolin baths, 96 poultice cabins equipped for sweating, 34 bath cabins with submerged shower, 5 mobilization pools with underwater jets, 2 relaxation pools, 1 respiratory physiotherapy room, 18 multipurpose shower cabins, jet and penetrating shower, 154 high pressure jet stations, 2 pedifoulages, 2 manuboues, 15 pediouches, 6 relaxation baths with cervical shower, 9 underwater massage cabins, 1 fitness room, 1 cardiotrainning room. An annual cure, agreed, of 18 days or a medical cure in free format, of at least 5 days. Accommodations with 4 hotels-restaurants, 10 residences Studios Rentals, 3 campsites, and 1 restaurant-brewery.

A simple massage at the thermal baths of Greoux, which disappointed me, I expected much better! At first I specify to the masseuse that I can not bear to lie on my stomach for a long time and that I wish I could also lie on my back especially for neck and shoulder massage (classic things in all places where I have had massages / models of "relaxing" type, and which have never posed a problem). The masseuse grimaces and tells me in a slightly dry tone that I will pass in various positions anyway (which is indeed the case). At the end, traditional question: did everything go well, madam? I answer yes, but with a reservation about the fact that the end of the massage concerning the upper back, cervical, shoulders, was done through a bath towel and not "with bare hands" and that I found it a shame. Answer: I can't help it, that's protocol!
So it’s a shame that the “protocol” (which, incidentally, included not always very pleasant movements in the arms, tapping rather painful than relaxing) does not simply provide for better listening to the wishes of the customer.
Anyway, considering the extra Award, I'm not going back.

After 5 years of thermal cure option rheumatology in a small mountain spa where we were pampered, we decided to discover the Thermal Range of the Sun and we went in 2023 to Amélie les Bains. Despite the significant cost to us, we afforded ourselves the luxury of first-rate service, and we were very satisfied with the additional services offered, listening to our care preferences, and the quality of service.
Reassured by this service,, we immediately booked as soon as we returned from cure last year, our cure 2024 in Gréoux les Bains, eyes closed because it was also the Chain Thermale du Soleil, so necessarily even service, without request for additional information, and let's be crazy, with the first service as long as to do!
So we started our cure on June 17. First of all, who says rheumatic diseases says mud applications. In Greoux, during the visit, the doctor told us no more than 9 days out of 18 days of cure. We asked for the hydromassage bath every day, same answer, no more than 9 times out of 18, the kaolin bath, idem, no more than 9 times out of 18.........
Huge disappointment, at Amélie les Bains we had all this throughout the cure. When we told the doctor this, he told us it's because there are a lot fewer people, here it's not possible!
So on June 16th we were duly welcomed on duty first, with much fanfare, by a committee welcoming strikers (this is a detail, and we fully respect their rights and demands in relation to their working conditions). Then we went to our first aid, pool mobilization, where we had to get out immediately and change pool because feces were suspended in the water. It was the second time this happened, and it happened to us two days later.
I will not talk about our state of mind at the end of our first day of cure at La Chaine Thermale du Soleil in Gréoux!!!
As for the first service of Gréoux, at 520 euros per person Very great disappointment, and all the participants in the information meeting were of the same opinion!!!! . Unlike Amélie les Bains, no hydromassage bed treatment offered, no excursion (visit from Perpignan to Amélie), no breakfast once a week, a herbal tea that is not one. You go get a cup of hot water and you ask for a bag to put in, and you don't even have a choice of herbal tea. and you consume in the seats of waiting corners of care.....
And finally, the biggest trick, in prime service, is the mud poultice application which represents two treatments called mud and sweating in single cabin, because you have a blanket on you!!!!!! So for 9 days out of 18 you pay for 4 treatments a day and you actually only have three.
But in Amélie, and in our little mountain resort, we had mud applications, plastic film around us, and above all a blanket, but it was only one treatment, and all this also in a single cabin.
So we returned home yesterday with a very, very great disappointment. More than a thousand euros for two for only. have treatments without any expectation, the possibility to change linen at will, so-called Deluxe linen (once in 4 or 5 the loop of fabric that allows to hang the bathrobe on the hooks to the pool is torn off) and a coaching session at the gym. Which only interests a minority of our age group...
For us, the first service is over, and next year we will try to trust once again, perhaps the last, in the Sun Thermal Range, and for that reason we have booked, today, a cure in Lamalou Les Bains in a small spa resort.
We return very disappointed, and unlike other years, with some of our pain, due to the lack of proper care.

We finished our 3 week treatment for the 3rd time. Thermal center forming part of the Soleil thermal chain, a guarantee of great seriousness. Everything is clean, the staff are top notch. It’s good for rheumatism!

We loved the establishment, clean and above all the staff are very friendly and really friendly and smiling. We congratulate the teams, we were well supported or they have a schedule to follow, but too bad they didn't have enough down time. Thanks to the staff, except the massage part really on top. It was our last moment that we were looking forward to and ended with poor care, really a shame.
I think that when there are people it must be the factory, especially for the koalin swimming pool, hammam, claire thermal part, but fortunately there are the staff for the organization who are at the top, I hope just that the next ones won't have our two masseuses.
Our formula €98 for the Spa Sérénité treatment 3 treatments and 1 30' massage;
N°1 Remineralizing hydromassage bath 15' Personal bath Very pleasant, you enter a cabin where there is a little lack of atmosphere, zen music, candles and perhaps an essential oil, too bad it would have been even better.
N°2 Hydromassage Thermal Wave 15' You are lying on your stomach, the jet passes from top to bottom, just a little cold when the jet is not on the part of your body. (it would be good to have a cushion under the stomach for people with lumbar problems). But very pleasant to do.
N°3 Weightless Kaolin Bath 15' It's a large swimming pool, with white clay with several people, where we didn't have many people at this time, so we took advantage of being fully stretched out and zen. We were amazed, really awesome. Same as the hydromassage bath, a little Zen music and even a drawing on the ceiling could be nice. But frankly it has to be done, it was our favorite treatment.
The Aromatic Relaxation Massage 30' VERY ABOVE, we had two different masseuses, but both were disgusted. The masseuse asks me if I want some music and I was treated to 1 zen song too bad. Then she asks me if I want a deep massage of the neck, back and legs, Oh yes. But it was never towards the neck, then my left arm triceps shoulder, but not the right arm (not understood). For my left leg only the calf, because she hadn't pulled the towel up enough lol. No odor for aromatic oil. Deep Massage, really gentle massage and why only 20' of massage and not 30', once finished, she said to me "give me your locker room, I'll get your things" I told her that I would like to drink a little tea, as was in our treatment. But the treatments went well, but there was no downtime and we weren't able to do that.
Between treatments 3 and 4, Access to the relaxation area, to the clear thermal swimming pool which is not very large and we enjoyed the jets for the back, but we had to wait a little to enjoy them, I can't even imagine how there is a lot of people. Then Hammam lavender essential oil for me well, a little small I think.
That's it, but these are opinions to perhaps improve your system, for your future customers. Thanks to the really great staff, without them we would have been there. But in general we liked it because we really needed it, but I would take it without the massage lol

we did a treatment in October in primary service. we do not regret having chosen this service because there were fewer people. On the other hand, the service is very expensive for the service provided. it is not specified that the first service is only open in the morning. The same goes for the gym. so we couldn't go because we had treatment all morning. You had to pay extra to access the room in the afternoon. In fact the only plus is not being too numerous. for the rest, no real difference. we had taken a vr and hr treatment. We arrived in good health and we left sick. It’s a shame all the same. it’s a real cultural hub and the mask should be obligatory. the doctor is absolutely not interested in our case, everything is botched. We bitterly regret our stay and do not recommend it at all. Cambo les Bains did us a world of good, there really is nothing positive to say.

Unlike last year, high pressure jets are no longer activated for this package and other even more expensive packages. To carry out the massage, I was taken to the institute side, I was asked to get my locker room so I could get dressed after this treatment. The lack of explanations from the masseuse did not allow me to rinse off in the shower and get a dry towel. In conclusion, prices are increasing and service is deteriorating!

Our first treatment in this establishment and we are generally happy.

Pourquoi 1 an avant pour une reservation de soins, sans le logement, il n'y a pas de possiblite d'horaire agreable. Prise en otage, car avec logement toutes les plages sont libres?????

Malheureusement on nous le signales en amont pour pouvoir réserver.SI ceux qui prennent le logement inclus ont dès avantages c’est le coût beaucoup plus élevés qui fait la différence .Nous qui louons au camping nous contentons des horaires imposés Tarif nettement inférieur.
