It was rather warm, without a breeze along the river side that evening . No beautiful sunset to behold. Plenty of car parking lots. The food stalls were still open for snacks & drinks.

The park is amazing. It stands on the junction..estuary that connects the Straits of Malacca with the Muar river...giving a truly magnificent marine vista. The park is extremely well kept and besides the wonderful views is well used as a walking-fitness outside "gym" in the cool of the morn or late afternoons. In the middle of the park there is even a nice rolling, well maintained, 9 hole golf course...which I played once. It is open to the public...for a reasonable price. Totally free are the amazing sunsets-sunrises...the monkees...the wonderful marine fowl....the monitor lizards, the sounds, the well equipped children's playground, the walks. Love this Muar diamond which ever fails to connect me to a deeper truth.

Tetian Bakau is a new attraction in Tanjung Muar. It features a stilted track, zigzagging across the mangrove. An eco-tourism for close-up views of flora and fauna.
We enter from our morning walk route. It has a pathway of elevated wooden track with rail guards, rest points and a view deck over the Straits of Melaka. Monkeys, herons, iguanas and mud crabs appear in their natural habitats. Chirping birds and creepy insects are audible. The pathway exit at the south end of Tanjung Muar. Tetian Bakau offers a mangrove experience without wetting the feet.

Pleasantly surprised with the very clean and dry toilets. World class standard. I wish all of the public toilets in Malaysia are like this.

Tanjung emas waterfront is an another attraction when you are at the tanjung emas park, at evening the sunset was nice and it's also a spacious, clean and airy waterfront.

We can see everyone having their great time with loved ones, by cycling, playing at playground, jogging, fishing, strolling along the breezy river bank and so on. There is also a tour boat to take you for a guided tour along the coast where we can witness mangrove swamp and coastal scenery of this beautiful coastal town.

It was at 10.30pm on a Sunday night that we went after a heavy dinner. Pleasant surprise to see people of all walks of life having great time with their loved ones, be it playing at the playground, strolling along the breezy river bank, jogging or cycling. A number of spots are insta-worthy. This is a must go in Muar.

A nice park with jogging track, food court, central park of kids playing toy car. Fishing marina and boating at the muar river.
Interesting and crowded with children's. Especially the fishing, it was strategic that visitors and angler can walk to middle of the river because ferry port was allow entry by angler with rm5 fees entry.
At night there are lighting with visitor to see the night river scene. Must come as this is the most interesting place at muar.

整體來說是不錯的觀光點，唯一覺得可惜的是，電子解說員的聲音很難聽，太沉了，還有背景音樂馬來樂器聲，以及遊船引擎聲，聽不見他在講什麼。
