The waterfall was so amazing to see in real life. It’s so much bigger than it looks in photos. We went in rainy season so it was extremely powerful with a lot of back spray. We were unable to walk all the way along the hiking path as we would’ve gotten soaked but it was still an incredible experience.

Great waterfall

I like nature and waterfalls and this is a good one. There is a trail / steps to take you down to the falls with lookout points. It can be a little steep / uneven in places but navigable.

Il y a plusieurs chutes sur le plateau, qu'il faut visiter absolument, ça prend peu de temps, et c'est vraiment impressionnant.

Tad Yuang Waterfall

The melodious sound of the waterfall makes you wanna stay for a couple of hours, just relaxing and enjoying it's beauty. This is a great place to visit, just a few km. away from Tad Fane.

Best Attraction on the Plateau

You can walk down to the bottom of the waterfall and get completely wet or you can splash your feet in the pools just meters before the water goes over the edge. There are covered seats if you want to enjoy a picnic.

We visited during the time of closed international borders and there were very few visitors but there were plenty of sellers trying to keep up an atmosphere that was sadly lacking in most places we visited.

Nice place to relax

Not too far from Tad Fane but much better. You can walk down and get very close to the water fall. There are places to bring your picnics and have a great time. The coffee and restaurant in the compound has a great view and serves foods from fresh local produces

Magnifique

On a eu la chance d'y passer alors qu'il n'y avait presque plus de touristes, alors oui, c'est magnifique, c'est reposant. Il faut descendre un escalier et en bas, on peut s'y baigner.

Ein Muss, wenn man in Pakse ist

Etwa 45 km östlich von Pakse auf dem Hochplateau gibt es etliche sehenwerte Wasserfälle. Mit einem Mietmotorrad kann man die südliche Tour hin und zurück gut an einem Tag fahren. Die Ausschilderung an der Strasse zu den Wasserfällen ist ziemlich undeutlich und unklar, sodass man ab einem bestimmten km-Stand auf dem Tacho sehr genau aufpassen sollte. Von der Strasse ab sind es unbefestigte steinge Wegen bsi zu den Parkplätzen. Dort gibt es zunächst kleine Lokale und Souvenirshops. Dann muss man jeweils zu Fuß zu den Wasserfällen absteigen, wozu man nicht gehbehindert sein darf. Zweifellos sind die Tad Yuang Fälle das lohnenste Ziel der Tour. Hier kann man im Becken unten wunderbar schwimmen.
