Visited with two small children who loved it - felt very welcome. Homemade soup was delicious as was the ice cream. Good value and staff friendly.

On a bitterly cold day I couldn’t match the brave souls who were enjoying Brymor’s excellent ice cream and headed instead to the cafe where we enjoyed very good coffees.
We always pop in here when we are in the area and, in addition to the very good cafe and ice cream parlour, there is a nice shopping area which is always worth a browse.

A lovely morning spent at Brymor - excellent cooked breakfast, plenty of tea and a large child’s portion for my grandson! The staff are always so friendly and helpful.
There was a Halloween craft activity when we visited and a member of staff was supervising it was great fun and totally unexpected.
There’s a little animal farm and play area and fabulous shop.
Last but not least the ice cream - delicious!!

Lovely place to visit with petting farm, clean toilets and facilities. They cater for the doggies with a lovely fenced off area. Overall a nice place but ...the reason to go is the ice cream which I found to be pretty tasteless if I'm honest. I had cookie dough and salted caramel in a tub and I just couldn't tell which was which? It's quite a lot of money to spend out without getting a product that tastes like the thing it's supposed to be. I even tried to let mine warm slightly in case it was just the cold temp but still not a lot of taste coming through. It's not creamy, not tasty but just generic. It's a shame as I think this is a great place to stop if you are in the area. I'm hoping there is an ice cream shake up at some point but if not I'll just grab a latte instead. Hopefully someone at some point within the company will do a taste test as this is such a lovely place.

Very nice place with the petting farm part . But the ice cream is sub standard with a lack of taste seems to be more a sorbet feel to it I think too high a water content possibly .I felt a bit of a let down as I expected better for the money .from other reviews on here from folks that have been going for years it seems new owners are running it and the ice-cream flavour and texture has dropped a lot from what it once was . Nice place to visit if your in the area but don't expect to be blown away by the ice-cream has a nice dog park at the side that is useful . But they need to re think what standard of ice-cream they are making

Stopped by, with the dog, on Sunday 1 September after a little stroll round Jervaulx Abbey . Very tasty icecream, not quite on a par with Italian gelato, but pretty good nonetheless! Quite expensive but generous portions. Good play area for kids, mini football pitch, pets corner with goats, donkeys and rabbits, chickens roaming around, cows to look at. Dogs welcome. On the way out saw a sign that said “open every day in the summer hols, then weekends only.”

If you like ice cream you can do no better, IMHO, than visiting Brymore Ice Cream out beyond Masham.
Plenty of flavours to choose from. Some might say too many. But if unsure of which to choose the awesome friendly caring staff are more than happy to provide a small taster spoonful.
Having three young grandchildren with complex needs a visit out is always a challenge but visiting here is never stressful. Just a pleasure.

The facilities here have improved greatly / a great place for young families. Unfortunately the ice cream has taken a nosedive. The creaminess of the jersey milk has gone bringing down the quality of the ice cream to budget supermarket standard.

Called into the parlour a couple of times when we were in the area and I thought the place was great. Plenty of flavours to choose from, including some you wouldn't usually expect. Large car park, pleasant surroundings and really good ice cream.

Travelling the road from Masham to Leyburn we fell upon the turn-in for Brymor's. Plenty of parking and a definitely a fun place for kids with its playground and pets on view... Rabbits, donkey, pony, guinea pigs, hens, calfs. The ice-creams we tried were delicious (black cherry and raspberry flavours). Single cones were £3.75 each - but the helping was very generous and the staff very friendly. We plan to visit again soon ;-)

I don't recall there being any nutty ice cream flavours, so probably. Saying this, it is probably best that you ask when you get there just to be on the safe side.

Many thanks for your recent message.
We do welcome well behaved dogs to Brymor, however we request that they remain outside and that they do not enter the children's play area.
Only Guide Dogs are permitted access inside the Ice Cream Parlour.
