Foi minha primeira Via Ferrata e foi incrível! Não é uma atividade pesada, deu-me uma impressão de muita segurança, a vista dos arredores é deslumbrante e sempre te chega uma boa surpresa na atividade.

A atividade foi desempenhada pela H-GO, que possui guias cuidadosos e que te passam boa segurança.

Já estou pensando onde farei uma próxima...!

Mucha aventura, adrenalina y diversión en medio de la naturaleza

La vía Ferrata es una maravilla, aunque es una actividad intensa y llena de adrenalina, todo el tiempo te van cuidando y vas seguro. Los guías, a pesar de ser jóvenes, están bien capacitados y te van guiando y cuidando todo el tiempo con atención. El Canopy está entretenido y divertido. La caminata por el bosque está muy interesante y con bellos paisajes.

Buena experiencia

Asistimos con ellos a la via ferrata que tienen en Mineral del Chico, es buena experiencia, fuimos mi pareja y yo, los guías son amables es un buen lugar y esta adecuado para el turismo. Solo lleva ropa comoda y un sueter ligero por que arriba hace frío, es un buen reto para quien teme de las alturas.

Senderos pueden mejorar

Estuvimos este fin de semana en este hermoso lugar, la idea era hacer senderismo, encontrarnos con la naturaleza...al inicio nos ofrecieron dos senderos, (no nos mostraron fotos, a diferencia de su principal producto que es la Vía Ferrata), éstos nos parecieron atractivos y en ese momento optamos por realizar los dos. A lo largo del primer sendero todo fue bien, la explicación del guía buena, pero al llegar a lo alto de la roca la vista sin duda excepcional pero, no era lo que esperabamos ya que queriamos ver muchos pinos alrededor, despues de esto pedimos al guía la posibilidad de cancelar el otro sendero, ya que imaginabamos estaría igual que este sendero, la respuesta fue un NO es posible, NO hay reembolsos... nos pareció muy brusca y tajante la manera en la que nos negaron la posibilidad siquiera de recuperar dinero o minimo que hicieran una penalización por porcentaje sobre la cantidad... tuvimos que hacer el recorrido con desgano, en espera de encontranos algo que nos impresionara pero no fue así, asi que la verdad no lo recomiendo, no caminas con confianza y en tiempo de lluvias seguramente es imposible realizarlo... nos fuimos con un mal sabor de boca por la actitud cero tolerante ante nuestra expectativa. Los cascos huelen mucho a sudor, no lavan el equipo, ojo con eso. De ahi partimos al Parque Nacional y por solo $38 pesos pudimos disfrutar de un sendero impresionante y subir a la roca de la Muela, sin guía y a nuestro paso... volveremos a Mineral pero si quieres senderos e impresionantes vistas, no realices los que ofrece esta empresa, recomiendo los que estan en el Parque Nacional.

Exceeded expectations

I have to admit that I didn’t know what a via ferrata was before I signed myself and my daughter up for it. She loves rock climbing and I thought that it would be something that we could do together.

So while my wife and son did the Canopy activity, which they thoroughly enjoyed, the two of us harnessed up and hiked up to the starting ladder. We had Gerardo/Tuza, and I cannot imagine a more competent, helpful guide. He made my daughter feel like she could accomplish this amazing feat and reassured me as a dad that she was in good hands.

If you are at all interested in this activity, just go for it! This is a thrill of a lifetime and at least equals skydiving as the most extreme experience I’ve had.

One tip: it is quite cool on the mountain, so unless you enjoy being cold (I actually do), consider long sleeves and pants and definitely hiking shoes. If you opt for shirts, wear sunscreen (I got burned).

Experiencia unica en la vida

En definitiva es una experiencia única en la vida, un reto bastante desafiante pero que sin duda vale la pena. Los guías son excelentes personas que siempre están cuidándote.
Recomiendo llevar cámara, lamentablemente no pudimos comprar el paquete de fotos que ofrecen al principio porque el responsable se quedo sin batería al principio del ascenso.

Via Ferratta was great fun!

We thought we were hiring a rock climbing guide but due to translation issues ended up at this via ferratta facility. Glad we stayed. It was absolutely beautiful and incredibly cool climbing this significant wall. The bridges were exciting. The climbing very safe since you are attached with lower and upper harness to a continuous cable throughout the entire journey. You have to move your carabiners as you go, so young children might have a problem with this. The holds are generally made of rebar, so they are thin cable. Once you get to the top, you need to hike down the mountain. Therefore stiffer hiking boots more appropriate than sneakers. The two of us had the place to ourselves and could go at our own pace. Took us about 1 1/2 hours up and 1/2 hour to hike down the back. The bathrooms were clean. Only complaint, guide that went with us did not speak English. That was fine for most of the climb, but a bit too complicated for us to consider tarzan jump. The alternative was also fun since you get to climb up a narrow canyon.

Experiencia inolvidable

Fuimos entre semana mi pareja y yo; tuvimos toda la aventura para nosotros solos. Los guias muy amables y profesionales; el lugar muy bonito alejado de tráfico, ruido y esmog y muy cerca de la CdMx. La experiencia más inolvidable la "vá ferrata" apesar de que vas muy seguro, la adrenalina corre por todo el cuerpo. Al ver la altura del salto de tarzán no nos animamos, pero bajando nos arrepentimos; así de que si tú vas, subes y llegas no dejes pasar la oportunidad. Sólo debes llevar ropa cómoda, ya que los guias cargan con agua y snacks. El canopy muy divertido, pero nada espectacular después de la via ferrata. El sendrismo es para disfrutar de la naturaleza y la paz que da la vista; si subes al atardecer es muy bello el esectáculo. Recomiendo quedarse en "Cabañas Vena ventura" que incluye el paquete, pues la atención de los dueños es de primera y no se diga la comida, con sabor 100% casero. Aprendimos que no todo son playas y ciudades, estos pequeños pueblitos tienen mucho que ofrecer. Simplemente inolvidable. Gracias H-Go Adventures!

The best via ferrata in Mexico

This is an adventures park located in the middle of a dense forest in Hidalgo, in this place you can do many things like vía ferrata, canyoning, canopy, rappel and trekking. In spite of the fact that there were many activities to do I only choose one: the via ferrata.
A via ferrata is a route where you can climb a mountain with the help of iron studs for footholds and you are fastened with to an iron wire so you can’t fall down. The via ferrata Mineral del Chico is in a mountain that has more than 200 meters of height. The duration is approximately 3 hours and the cost 900 MXN pesos per person. It’s an incredible experience if you like the adrenalin.
The crew that guide you during the trip are very friendship and they help you in every moment. One useful piece of advice is to wear comfortable clothes and a pair of sneakers. Note that if you go in winter or autumn you need to wear a jacket because the weather is terrible.
