Very nice falls!

You have to walk past the vendors, to get to the falls (500 meter walk) but nice falls. There is a tall green metal fence but you still can get good pictures.

Fence ruins the view

We were fortunate to see the falls after a long rainy season, and so the waterfall itself was beautiful.
However, the palisade fence on the viewing platform ruins the view completely and makes it a little difficult to justify paying an entrance fee.

I have attached two photos: one taken through the fence and then the reality of the platform.

If you drive a little further along you reach Mac Mac Pools. While obviously not as spectacular as the main waterfall, one can swim by the smaller waterfalls which makes for a lovely outing. The water was crystal clear as well!

Worth a visit

The waterfall is another one of nature's wonders and worth a visit. The facilities and path are not maintained with very little signage or assistance from the (unfriendly) staff. The path was muddy and barely usable and no warning as to the dangerous and slippery state on which certain shoes are not recommended. In comparison to other provinces such as West Cape Mpumalanga really falls short on friendly and helpful assistance at tourist attractions. And they have just as much to offer.

Ik had net wat meer omkadering verwacht. Het is zeker mooi, maar that's it. Geen trail, geen info, geen interesse van de personen die er aanwezig zijn. Het is een mooie waterval, maar ook een gemiste kans.

Breathing mac mac falls...safety first...needs urgent attention

We stayed at crystal springs and did day trips to areas nearby like mac mac falls.
The pathways are not at all safe with railings fallen off lying on the wayside. This area has sheer cliff drops and the current fencing is ridiculously unsafe...how do u use a net fencing here??? Peoples lives are at stake.
Really took chances and TAKE NOTE SENIORS AND THOSE NOT FIT TO WALK DISTANCES dont take a chance.
The falls itself...im not convinced about the platform only one set of thick panel fencing.
I wouldnt risk old ppl or kids going here.
The limpopo municipality needs to rethink and redo safety features. We have an amazing country with unsurpassed panoramic scenery...our infrastructure is totally useless and not ready for locals leave alond world class tourists

Short walk to viewing point. The viewing point is a small block. It a quick stop view and shop spot.

Quick Stop - thirty minutes

We stopped here first thing in the morning as part of our God’s Window route. There is a parking area and various vendors selling crafts there. The walk to the falls is sub ten minutes and you need at most thirty minutes here. The falls were lovely and remarkably large!

Beautiful Fall

Beautiful waterfall. Easy walk to the lookout point. Can only see the fall from the top and cannot walk to the bottom. Close to Graskop.
