I wanted to fully relax for NYE so booked a 50 minute massage in the TUI Blue Spa - as a guest (I was staying elsewhere).
Greeted by a pleasant lady who told me her English wasn’t great. I tried to explain that I wanted to my massage firm - she didn’t understand this alas.
The room was set out lovely and nice relaxing music, alas thats where the plus’s end.
The room was so cold, despite my having 2 towels on. I was literally shivering. Also the bed was uncomfy, it had metal bars going across it.
That combined with my massage being pleasant but not firm (which I needed) - for 65 Euros I was disappointed.
Then when paying it took over 5 mins for the card machine to work.

We just spent a relaxing week at the TUI Blu. Los Gigantes itself is quiet, so it's not the best place if you want nightlife. The hotel has a nice sea view, and the food is good with plenty of hot options. The two pools are nice, and we easily found sun beds. The food and drinks from the Pool Bar are tasty and reasonably priced compared to outside bars. The staff are friendly and attentive. Our room was spacious, with plenty of hot water in the shower. The best rooms face the sea; we had a top floor room with a fantastic view of La Gomera and a glimpse of La Palma in the distance. They restock tea and coffee daily, and the fridge fits fresh milk and a few bottles of wine, beer, or water. There are a couple of small supermarkets right across the street.
The hotel offers free entertainment activities. We enjoyed a wine tasting, cocktail workshop, and Sangria demonstration, all of which we booked through the TUI Blu app. We also took part in the complimentary Culinarium dining experience.
Although the hotel is rated 4 stars, I believe it is more of a strong 3 stars. It meets expectations well but is not quite as high-end as a full 4-star experience.
Would I return? Yes I would. It was a nice relaxing week and the hotel made us feel welcome and chilled.

We have stayed here many times and always found the staff helpful and polite. The accommodation is first class, including the food.

Best hotel we've been in for ages, all the staff are very professional and friendly. The restaurant and staff were excellent and the food on offer was varied with ample choice. The pools were also excellent with the lower one being the best. Our room was very good and kept very clean. The entertainment on offer was varied with the flamenco group and the Freddie Mercury act being brilliant. The reception staff, headed by Jesus and his young assistant were also excellent. The bar staff should also get a mention who work their socks off, especially Beatrice.

My husband and I have just returned from a fabulous 5 night stay at this lovely hotel.
Our room had a mountain view room which we loved and enjoyed listening to the music from the various bars in the evening.
The staff are all very helpful, special thanks to Jesus on reception who helped show us the fabulous coastal walk and provide bus service timetables/directions to the local bus stops.
The food was great, plenty choice and a good standard.
Our room was kept spotless clean which we really appreciated. Really spacious room and everything in working order.
The quiet pool is perfect if want some quiet time to read and relax.
The location was perfect for walking and relaxing.
Local bus took under 1 hour to go to Costa Adeje if you want to some shopping and very easy to use/ great value at around €7.50 euro return.
Would highly recommend if you are looking for a chilled holiday. We thoroughly and enjoyed and will definitely book again. Thank you team!

What an absolutely top standard hotel. Great restaurant with a great varied menu which caters for all tastes. The large rooms are modern, uncluttered and regularly serviced to a high standard. The TUI reps and hotel staff go above and beyond to help and ensure you enjoy your holiday. There is a large pool and pool area, with Aqua aerobics 5 days a week, and a smaller “quiet” pool. Evening entertainment is to a good standard. This is a really well run hotel with extremely high standards and one we will definitely be returning to.

I had the back neck and shoulders treatment and it was fantastic! The massage therapist was great. I thought that it was great value.
The spa was very clean and the facilities were great - MUCH NICER THAN THE PHOTOS DO IT JUSTICE.
Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the hotel or even the area if they can.

We had full body 50 minutes massages (one aromatherapy and one therapeutic) and also some waxing treatments. Vanessa and Christina were both great, making us feel welcome and at ease immediately. Feeling extremely relaxed now and about 10 years younger! Muchísimas gracias, señoras 🙂❤️

How good is the hotel Wi-Fi? TUI says I can use it as a workcation, but is it good enough to work at? Are their quiet spots?

Yes quite spots but WiFi poor you might be able to buy a package

Menos de 10€, no me acuerdo muy bien el precio. Mejor pregunta en el mismo spa, puedes llamarles por telefono y asi tambien reservas en caso de que este lleno. Un saludo.
