This is a must see on Siargao. Make sure to take shoes you can take in water. The coral/Limestone access is razor sharp and the local gov. Hasn’t spent a peso for safe access. The beach is vast and for 10 peso you can shower off when finished. You can rent mask, snorkel & vest. I explored the rocky islands inside this strange reef with giant tide pool. 2 hours was enough. Gotta car? Go north to Pacifico and see old Siargao.

Great spot, beautiful crystal clear water and it was not too busy at all when we visited. Just make sure you’re there at low tide!

Despite a disappointing first look and an overcrowded entrance, the rock pools were wide and varied. We brought our snorkeling gear and were impressed by the structures and the variety of fishes for such a difficult environment (needle fish, parrot fish, eels, anemone fish, etc.).
Due to the size of the pools, you can easily find a quiet place and chill for an hour or two.

Entrance fee is PHP50. A short walk from the entrance to this natural infinity pool. You can only see this pool during low tide. We came around 7am and enjoyed a good swim here. You can also climb up a small rock and jump into the water. Good place to spend 1-2 hours here. There’s lots of eateries near the entrance and hence you can have your breakfast or lunch here

This is a great tourist spot to go to. Would recommend that you walk further to the end of the swimming holes. There are less people towards the end and there's a hidden beach right by the curb. A lot of tourists just stay in the first swimming hole but there are a lot more if you walk further. There are also a lot of places to eat here. Would recommend trying one of the local stores in this place. We went right before lunch time so it wasn't as crowded, but right when it hit lunch time, tables started to fill up quick! A must visit in Siargao!

a natural phenomenon which doesn't occur very often. these are tidal pools which form proper swimming holes during low tide, including some trapped fish. Its nice.

O que gostei mais foi da deslocação ate as piscinas de moto (preferencialmente). No local propriamente dito, existe imensos restaurantes (por isso optimo para degustações tipicas), as piscinas em si, não são piscinas mas "buracos" nas rochas... nada de especial.

The Rock pool was a really nice place to visit!!! A lot of visitors, though, but walk a little further in and there would be less people around so you can enjoy your dip in the rock pool. Clear, refreshing water on a hot day! Great view,too.

月曜日の昼間の干潮時に訪れました。干潮寺には外礁との区切られた内礁のプールができます。透明度はまあまあで、魚もわずかですがいます。シュノーケリングができます。が、なんといっても混雑します。ビーチの駐車場料金がバイクで20ペソ、ビーチ入場料が50ペソ、さらに道路入り口で5ペソ徴収されました。

Took a trip to Magpaponko swimming hole and although it’s a beautiful spot, it’s full of tourists (at least when we visited) and locals renting ugly looking rubber rings for selfie shots.
Make sure you check the tide times too otherwise you might not be able to visit as the tide could be in.
